edit: mine being shipped from Yanwen...my item is 4inch ALL plastic figure (with no batteries nor magnet). Let's see if that makes any difference.

Has anyone have any recent interaction with Anime-Exports lately? Are they backed up with customer response / processing shipment?
I decide to clear out my private warehouse with them 10+ pieces (some very large pieces). It has been a week and have sent a follow-up with them giving them to split the shipment request into two boxes if needed. (Just realize too next week is Golden Week so things are really going to slow down)

Aiko (AE) said one item was damaged and had to wait for replacement from manufacturer (good to know). It was a big shipping bill - just like I expected. (I could have done ground/shipping - but wait as well get it over with ... choose EMS)

I have always been a very good customer of Anime Export: we're talking about large regular expenses over more than 10 years in SOC, DX Chogoking Macross, Transformers MPs, gokins...never had a problem. Their purchasing stack and preorder management system is quite well done. But... I bought from them (the day of the preorder) the GX-85 King Brachion / Titanus which I kept in stack because I preferred to have the many items that I already had on preorder sent to me. I was waiting for covid and the start of the war in Ukraine to calm down to have it sent to me by regular airmail shipping (which was suspended for a while in Japan). The box is huge and costs an arm and a leg in express shipping. The day I wanted to send me this big dinosaur from Bandai, I discovered that they sold it without warning me, claiming that they cannot keep the items in their stocks indefinitely. They never sent me an email to ask me to finalize a shipment and quietly sold my purchase. It was while searching through my “to send” stacks that I noticed my purchase had disappeared. I'll spare you the exchange of emails telling me that it's their sales policy not to be able to store purchased items over a long period, blah blah... I requested a refund for my purchase at the price of the yen of the time, which they refused: I got it at the price of the yen of 2023... I lose both the item and money. It's over $800 on ebay... I've given up on this thing. I no longer plan to buy from them. Hello Nin Nin Game I also mostly buy SOC now directly from the Tamashii french shop. Very good service: you skip the custom fee and shipping cost is very low. Neat.

Very good service: you skip the custom fee and shipping cost is very low. Neat. That sucks man, sorry to hear that. Nin-Nin is good, I shop there a lot the past number of years, since Nippon-Yasan went out and ate my money (quite a few hundred dollars). Anime-Export I stopped buying from a number of years (they also messed up a couple of my orders long long time ago), but I started to buy from them if I failed to secure something elsewhere. They have been good for the past couple years for me as a backup store. But yeah, long story short, can't rely on these shops 100%, as there is always a chance of something goes wrong, and we take the damage, be it storage for too long, company policy, whatever the reason may be. Just look out for yourself and your wallet at all times.

Digging the web, I found this new website : www.yoyakunow.com/en/www.trustpilot.com/review/yoyakunow.comthe owner of the shop seems very active on the web ; responding a lot on trustpilot, twitter and reddit with always the same 2 text blocs. I found the guy is a former employee of NIPPONYASAN (temperature suddenly increases in the kingdom named HELL). www.reddit.com/r/AnimeFigures/comments/nrrbyr/yoyakunowcom_safe/?tl=frgot some trads : "My name is Otachi Ryota 小立良太, I am the General Manager of Yoyakunow, this thread was reported to us by our users, we are a Japanese startup pre-order store that ships overseas, we do not accept than Paypal at the moment, because we believe that all users should be protected first and foremost, we do things differently from other Japanese stores that sell overseas pre-orders, we follow the philosophy of reporting properly, communicating properly and strive to show true Japanese service." ... "I'm glad my online resume was seen, because I actually worked at Nippon-Yasan as an employee for over 10 years, as the order placement manager and main liaison with suppliers, but I was never responsible for ensuring payment for orders or making payment to suppliers, it was someone else's responsibility. I and other Japanese colleagues didn't know what the community was talking about until I and other Japanese colleagues started seeing irregularities affecting our work, and after briefly investigating and discovering the harsh reality of what was going on. was going on and how the community was suffering, we decided that we could not continue, and I and other Japanese colleagues decided to resign." Anyone already tried this shop ? Firstly, as Japanese, we are taught to have responsibility, discipline and above all to have respect for others. I was worried about not having a job, but I am very happy with the initiative of my other Japanese colleagues to create a 100% Japanese company and to invite me to be part of this new Japanese family, to continue providing Japanese culture to the global community, it really fulfills me to work to make people happy, there are many emotions that few people understand about the collection, and now I have the responsibility to represent Japan, This is a heavy responsibility that I am privileged to have received, as it is my duty to keep everyone Grails safe!"

I've heard people say it's fine, but that Nippon Yassan connection will never stop being suspicious.

Never heard of them before, seems decent at a glance. But I am not sure I like the idea of label everything 'NEW', even when they are like a year old. Seems like they don't maintain or update the images/listing once they are up.

hey guys.
I'm going to give two BIG thumbs UP and a shoutout for ShowZ for coming through for ME...
I bought Joy Toys 40K figure that had toe joints that was "fused" at the pin( they are using plastic pin instead of metal for pin joint...!wth) so I got a lemon and he didn't have ANY toe movement.
So I Took 5min to File a After Service request with couple of pics then , few weeks later new pair of working kicks for my sad figure arrived!!
Thank you ShowZ for the industry leading After Service!!

Has anyone purchased from 93figure.com? They have a few items that I don't see in stock anywhere else (outside of eBay), but I'm generally leery of new vendors these days.
I don't love the "commit to the purchase and then we'll tell you how much the shipping will be" policy, but I've learned to trust it (or at least tolerate it) with other overseas shops.

Hi RJ members, if you shop at Anime Export - I would suggest you cross reference your email order confirmations against what is showing when you login to their site to make sure they reconciled.
I was checking my online account and noticed three orders that I paid in July for (awaiting orders) were not showing up. I have reached out to their customer services and will update you guys. My orders from before July (both awaiting orders and in-stock) are showing up properly.
I think they have upgrade their site in the last couple of months and wonder if have a data migration issue (which is not good)
AE has been my main shop for the last 5+ years (better prices, slight discount for early payment, and a very generous pile of loot policy)

hello
this happened to me too
couple of weeks ago they did some data transfer and moved to new servers, so some orders are not showing yes
all you have to do is to contact them and provide them with the orders numbers they will put it back in your account in no time
this happened to me

be careful since thats not the AE official website
find the official site and save it in your bookmark so you wont go to the KO site

But if I got lazy and just google it, it does sometimes lead me to a malware hijacker page, asking me to click and verify I am not a robot. DO NOT CLICK ANYTHING IF YOU SEE THAT. Be very careful.
