I randomly woke up at 1:45 am est, and then remembered this preorder should open at 4pm Japan time. Refreshed hlj as soon as 2 am hit, and there it was! Snagged the figuarts ultraman mebius, too. Couldn't find the new figuarts kamen rider faiz anywhere, though. Yeah, not sure about Faiz. Sold out in a couple places, but not even listed in many others. MB Shin Getter 1 was pretty easy to find/buy, available for a couple hours in multiple shops. Surprised to see it still available after I missed the preorder window by an hour or so (family duties). Hope you guys managed to snag one. Still need to find me a Faiz... Yeah I missed the boat on HLJ I'll probably get him from AmiAmi , was at work Eh I know he'll be available in June anywhere same fate as the Dragon Scale Ryujinmaru |

Well, I think Im still holding my breath because my first CCS shin getter had a loose wing and Im not sure what to expect for the black one I've ordered in terms of quality... Im hoping bandai on this metalbuild comes through on the quality... |

How did it sold out in under a second??? I clicked refresh non-stop until the preorder button appeared, quickly pressed it and it then show it being sold out. Not even a second!!! That is just a bunch of bullsh*t! Are these bots buying? Was the stock never real? Where can I still preorder? It’s sold out everywhere

Managed to grab one on Amiami. I logged in before hand and hit the refresh button 5 seconds till 6 and the pre-order button showed up. Crazy that it still sold out so fast, but I'm sure that will be good for the future of the Metal Build brand.

SOC has cheapened out quite a bit and I've been disappointed in their releases. A lot of their items get discounted from initial release price which is pretty telling of how the line up is fairing in the market place... |

A few photos from sample display in HK. Heard people saw it in person mentioned its on the small side (don't expect a lot bigger than normal Metal Builds). Based on those comments, and the official height at 22cm, it would be very close to Riobot Shin Getter 1 in size, head maybe even smaller, but beefier arms and legs. A lot of metallic paint is used as well, with metal flakes on almost all colors. Head sculpt looks good regardless the longer chin and eyes from the front, though not so good when you look from the side, with the face/chin very shallow or thin under a big forehead. For those that missed the initial preorders, don't need to panic. Official page state it is a Japan, Asia, US & UK release. So it will show up in many places with more chances to get one later. Looks good though can't wait for his P-Bandai counter part Shin Tarak lol.

Lol, can't wait for that P-Bandai Shin Tarak. There are few things more certain than Metal Build repaints. There's like what... 5 x Gundam 00, Strike, etc? Bandai is definitely going to get their money's worth out of that MB Shin Getter mold. |

Bandai can do MB Shin Getter 1 “normal / Anime” with this mold!
(Like Tarak, Bandai can reuse the metal frame and “replace the shell/armor” to make more source accurate Shin Getter 1…brilliant)

(Like Tarak, Bandai can reuse the metal frame and “replace the shell/armor” to make more source accurate Shin Getter 1…brilliant) This Already looks close to the Armageddon Shin Getter in terms of looks with a barely a few hints on Manga Shin in it but Still you can tell 90% it's Armageddon Shin & to Make a Full on Manga or Neo version his body build needs a lot of work At first Glance most will say Armageddon Manga Shin is mostly an Egg shapped Neo vs Shin is mostly a streamlined version of Manga Shin with a few tweaks in the green section & lack of Eye (All though it gets the Eyes once it becomes God Getter) |
