Immediately noticed the forearm and head redesign. Looks like the elbow connection had been updated too, considering how many people were annoyed by the first version's elbows.

New one looks great, more in line with the current designs and more anime accurate, without going too skinny like some of the SOCs. Didn't plan to get this, but if there is abundant supply and go on some discount, I may consider. But do I really need one, probably not.

The figure is a huge space and money commitment, so I'm not sure if I should get it I feel I'd rather put those resources into Diaclone Robot Base.

What a difference 11 years make!
New version looks good.
I think it will sell out even though Bandai has been on "Mazinger" overload for it's chogokin releases. Times are tough but collectors (I believe) are far more selective with their purchases and have budgeted for a big purchase such as a DX SOC.
Should there be a discount (doubt it but I'm hopeful) I'd pull the trigger if it was around $600 AUD including shipping.
