I mean, it's neat...but, I have the first DX Chogokin Mazinger. Other than my completist side -- which I gave up the last few years -- I don't see enough to compel me to drop the coin for this iteration. Dunno.

Pretty much I will stay with my DX. Also the price itβs close to $600 and shipping from Japan will be killer. Preorders stars in June 8 will release December this year. |

Honestly kinda disappointed that Grendizer DX got neglected/skipped again. Good news for people who want the DX SOC Mazinger though.

okaaay im happy for those who missed the original 2013 release, and as a mazinger fan im also happy to see a new DX (will try to grab one)
but when they heck they will give us Grendizer to complete the trio ?
why did they release the GX-105 as an anniversary if they are going to do a DX ?

Mazinger is iconic and is considered THE super robot. It only makes sense to offer multiple options to better fit the display needs and financial abilities of people. Not everyone has the right shelf for this, or $800 to spend on one figure. |

Nice. I'd love to see a side-by-side with the original DX Maz. The old one always looked kinda clunky and awkward to me. Proportions look better this time around.

So, the forearms and legs have a richer blue paint app and the Breast Fire lights completely? What other significant changes do you see?

Arms / joints are different. Also has the missle hatch option on the waist. Around $600.00 is not bad considering inflation, as long as the scrander is included in this release.

I couldn't care less about Mazinger Z but I'm worried if they do this with Great Mazinger, it will look better than the one I already have. Aaarrrgghhhh!
PS: Are aftermarket prices on the original DX Mazinger Z dropping?
