No, same face as what I remembered from the older versions I have. It is easy to recognize due to the narrower face and eyes closer to the center (not as nice, my long gripe about the GX-31). DX SOC Voltes V has a better face.  |

Congrats to the few who got a Japanese shop preorder in! I remember V5 PO sold out super fast.
I was late to the game and settled for Amazon. Amazon release date is November 30 so I won't get mine till December...

Amz Jp has nothing right now as I write this, except for one which doesn't ship to the USA. If cant ship to US, use 3rd party dropshipper like "buyee", open the app and you can buy through buyee for the thing cant direct ship from seller to US here . |

Not really quite digging the new box and box-art, tho... All the 50th anniversary boxes are quite underwhelming. The originals are much better. I must be in the minority since I actually don't mind the anniversary box art design. Don't have any background in graphic design but it looks okay to me. |
