That's an expensive model!! How big is it going to be when completed?!

Is it going to be prepainted?

i think it is prepainted and pre assembled.. it is not a model kit but i think like a Yamato Valk : plastic and a little of diecast... it will be around 24 cm

It'd be nice if it was a pre-fab toy.

Wow! Looks nice. Price might be a little steep but it all depends on the size I guess. Looks like the Movie version. I still prefer the one from the series more.

Very cool - it's surprising to realize that no major company has produced an SDF-1 in so long.

At 1/5000 scale, it's going to be approximately 10 inches. For that price, I'd rather spend it on another YF-19 or another Gunbuster.... Macross fan, but not much of a kit builder. I don't want to pay for something I might break half way.

Well it has been a while since a SDF toy was made and this certainly comes at a welcomed time!

Yeah, in this day and age where toys become bigger and bigger I'd expected a bit more, too.

I hope Yamato collaborates with Wave and blow up the scale a bit to 1/3000, similar to the Takatoku original from the 80's

The price is a little high for a ten inche figure but there is an incredible amount of detail and it has been awhile since anyone made a SDF toy.
