Found this off of the Macrossworld: Enjoy! I know Matchbox imported this also as a US release. I really, really hope this could be reissued.

The Wave version is certainly pretty to look at.

hi LZ, it is a "completed" model/figure/toy... "Wave hasn't done much with 'toys' (or completed figures, or whatever you'd like to call them) in the past, but it looks like they're trying to enter the fray in grand fashion with their new WHAM! line. The Wave High Advanced Model line is a series of highly detailed, fully articulated figures that's launching with the movie version Macross. Featuring a complete transformation, 1:5000 scale, and an exterior that's described as 'mostly metal', the Macross comes out to about 9.5 inches in length in fortress mode"

It does look nice, but I am also not fond of the small scale. At 9.5 inches, its really quite small, given the tall towers included. The elbow joints look fragile too, unless the joint itself is metal, or the entire lower arm is plastic (which sucks). Nice to see it coming, but not sure if I would buy a small Macross with that high price, regardless being a Macross fan myself.
Just not quite right when my Valks are all bigger than Macross itself. LOL ;D

Looks cool, but the arms seem to fragile. Not to mention very expensive.
