Hey, if you don't mind, could you post total cost from HLJ including shipping when you can (also where do you live.) I'd love to find another supplier other than BBTS if it costs less money. More money, more robots. ;D

More money, more robots. ;D Bill Cost will probably come out to the same since BBTS's cheap shipping makes up the difference for HLJ's EMS or even SAL. The only advantage HLJ has over BBTS is that if you preorder, you'll get your toy before BBTS even gets their shipment in.

Last summer when the Eva's were being released, it went like clockwork: RMC (in England) got his from HLJ exactly one week before mine would get here (Los Angeles) from BBTS. So every time RMC would post, I'd know I'd soon be losing sleep waiting the the big brown truck. I can't wait. ;D JWM

Anybody got their zambot yet? I think I'll wait and see if this year's Anime Expo has them for a decent price (to at least save some on shipping).

I'm waiting for mine to show up at my local shop. I have never preordered from them before, so this will be a good test to see how quickly they recieve new releases.
But I don't mind waiting. I like to support my local dealer, it's really nice to have a place to see the toys in person.

Just received a shipping notice for Zambot from HLJ. The damage is 22500 yen to New York via EMS. I am guessing about $210. I also like to buy from local shops whenever possible, but got somewhat dismayed when the Chogokin Voltes V was sold out before I could even get to the store. Maybe I am using a bad example, but I am relatively new to the SOC world and can't predict demand vs. supply.

Anything Voltes V will sell really quickly...it's safe to say that ALL of us here are waiting for a SOC Voltes. I tried to get onto HLJ to get Zambot but they're no longer taking orders (does that mean Bandai are not making any more?) Are there any other on-line stores out of Japan that has the Zambot?

baxter008- Several Hong Kong dealers on e-Bay have Zambot at a reasonable price. If you shop around, look for toysonline2002. They are fast, cheap, and very reliable. JWM

Checked my EMS tracking and its on its way to Frisco... Should be here soon!! Hopefully Monday. I am dumbfounded by some of the reviews Zambot is getting! At least he's not a "hat and shoes" robot and a true combiner. But still people find ways to bash an extremely well designed toy... maybe its just a way to justify not spending the big bucks on this toy... and then again this could be my way of justifying why I just blew a huge chunk of my paycheck to a weird addiction.

Don't worry, there is a whole mess of us that want it despite the $200 dollar price tag.

Checked my EMS tracking and its on its way to Frisco... Should be here soon!! Hopefully Monday. Got my shipping notification from HLJ last Monday. Didn't use EMS though. Used SAL, so I'll be waiting for a while. Likewise. All the news of brittle plastic, and weak joints, had me rattled. I already made up my mind and cancelling the Zambot pre-order I made, but when I checked my account at HLJ, it was already shipped (notice came a few hours later). I wanted to wait for more reviews, but now that it's on the way, and it being a birthday gift, might as well. ;D
