well i got it last week from some guy from california on ebay and it is really tall, the tallest of all my toy collection, plenty metal but i still like the one that i used to have as a kid and my mother gave it away, still i needed a voltron in my collection.

Don't have any accurate conversion tables but if it's approximately PhP10,000 in Philippine Currency, that's about JpY20,000 give or take.

Gold, could you be so kind and post your Voltron next to some other figures like GX-01R, Mazinkaiser, MP Prime ect. but especially GX-03. I have a feeling that Voltron will make Com-Battler look like a little boy. Voltron looks like he's a big fella!

He's the biggest die-cast bot I've got. In fact I think the only other bigger figures I own are the 14" Mandarin Spawn and Starscream Supreme.

MannyD, I doubt that it is.
I couldn't find the SRW scale comparison between SR's but I do recall Voltron being on the big side, with Mazinger Z about only a few meters taller than the Yellow/Blue Lion's head.
However, I don't really believe in that scale. I base their heights on the animation, and from the looks of things, Voltron, based on the anime, is only several meters taller than Mazinger. Same goes with the other SR's. If you judge by the height of the piolots and the cockpits, their not far off from each other.
Can anyone re-post that SRW 'usual suspects' height comparison pic?

Here's the picture.  The trouble with this is that it doesn't take all the proof from the Animes and just common sence plus this is based on SWR games and some numbers that the creators sometimes throw out to out do each other. I still go by the "SOC Scale" which is combiners are larger than none combiners and that most of the non-ones are roughly the same size. I picture Voltron as a smaller combiner, more Com-Battler size that Dancouga if it was made by Bandai. |

But to be honest I only have three SOCs so I'm not really the one to ask. My collecting focus is more on contemporary designs instead of retro or vintage stuff. |
