Not Familiar with the Bruticus KO but I do have the KO Musha Gundam made by academy (another excellent piece). Here are some size comparisons: I love your glass .......... ;D Thanks, I actually have the whole series. If you loved that, you'll appreciate what happens to the pic when you pour a cold beverage into the glass

This thread actually made me dig up what the current prices for the MPC voltron. And I don't know what's going on. The prices for these on ebay is insane. I am so glad that I got mines 3 years ago for a flat $120. Just last year, I suggested to a friend to get the plastic 25 anniversary edition because the metal version was already at 250+ range. This thread made me check and now I see seller on ebay asking in between 250 to 400 for the plastic version. Now I know that the ebay prices don't really reflect the actual value but still, ebay sellers are crazy.

Well ebay prices do reflect the true "market value" of the item you just have to query the Completed Listings (where items were actually bought) in this case the highest someone paid for a diecast MPC Voltron was $295 and the lowest was $267.50 .........still pretty impressive considering I bought mine for $150CDN when it was 1st released. I guess they're finally selling out of their 15,000 production run and its actually getting scarcer? It is a great figure, very SOC-like with top notch quality.....its the only "home-run" Toynami made (IMHO)

Yeah, I was glad to have hold of buying it when it was a new release and got mine at the wondercon convention a couple of years back. Best 120$ spent, well at least I will know that I can at least get double what I paid for. Yeah, also checked the completed listing on ebay amd the plastic version still sold at a average of $150+. Agan nearly double what my buddy paid for last August.

Can someone please explain to me what MPC is versus Toynami? Is one the manufacturer and the other the distributor? What does MPC stand for? Is MPC just a particular toy line by Toynami? Thanks.

I always presume that MPC stood for Masterpiece Collection. And Toynami is the maker/brand, not a distributor.

Yeah the MPC line stands for Masterpiece Collection and includes besides Voltron the Robotech VF-1's, Alphas, and Beta's.
