Is it just me, or does the knee connection on the yellow look a little wobbly? NIce pic though. ;D It is a tad wobbly. It is nothing though compared to the crappy arm joint connectors for the red and green lions.

damn. too bad that i live like 4 hours away for frank and son. i heard alot about this place but never had a chance to check it out. as of 1/17/06 the place that i perordered it from still have not gotten it in yet. its really frustrating that a toy thats made for the USA markets were released in Asia frist!
one that that i hate about this new voltron is that gaps between the 2 thighs are so big. i have to think of a way to fill that up once i have voltron in hand.
anyone know where i can find a tb to download the japanese verison of golion? i just finish watching a few english episode of voltron and its so stupid.

Where did you order it from? I got mine on pre-order from TISNC and I've had it for just about a month. one that that i hate about this new voltron is that gaps between the 2 thighs are so big. i have to think of a way to fill that up once i have voltron in hand. It's all about posing, as with most figures. No offence to zman's pic, but it's not a very appealing pose for MP Voltron. The straight forward, upright stance is not where MPVs sculpted qualities really shine. In action shots he looks great and does a pretty good job of conveying movement for how munch metal chunkyness he's got.

No offence taken Xiombarg. However, the picture was for size comparison as requested by an RJ member.

i got mine yesterday. my blue lion (right leg) does not connect with the black lion (the connector won't click). i tried to take it back but my supplier said he will just swap my blue lion from another box (sorry to the fellow who will get this defective blue lion). even with the frailty of the small peg connectors (red and green lion) and defective blue lion connector, i think i'm satisfied with my mpc voltron. it looks great!

Gold, could you be so kind and post your Voltron next to some other figures like GX-01R, Mazinkaiser, MP Prime ect. but especially GX-03. I have a feeling that Voltron will make Com-Battler look like a little boy. Voltron looks like he's a big fella! Hehe, sorry for the late reply, Chen. My ISP was down for last two weeks. Thanks to Zman for the images Gold

Very ... Big ... and Lanky ... No offense you guys (I offer you my humblest apologies)!
I think that the lower legs (The yellow and blue lions) are unproportional (too long), making the figure kind of ... weird (supermodel Voltron anyone?!). I think that the lower legs should be shorter in proportion to the upper legs, because that's where the knees are!
Overall, a very nice effort from Toynami, though!

It is a tad wobbly. It is nothing though compared to the crappy arm joint connectors for the red and green lions. Ah! So I guess after all the dust has settled, Toynami still released a sub-par toy. Thanks for the info ZMan. Taiwan bootleg Voltron, here I come! ;D

mpc voltron looks skinny in the pictures but in person, it looks great. this gokin is huge, yet kinda stylish (thin waist and thighs).

i think i now believe omni, seems toynami has poor quality control. luckily for mine, my supplier would replace the blue lion, if not, i can also return mine for a refund.
