"Fewture's rep has gained some points with the Black Getter Ryoma, so this might push Fewture forward to become a major player in quality robot design?" In my books they already are, I really dig their previous Mazinger 1901 designs as well as the detail to back it up. With my late Mazinger 1901 my favorite feature was the little Koji K. that fits inside a quite detailed chest cockpit. Most everything was great about that fig. only problem was its "structural" quality the lower forearms where you can attach the blades broke off quite easily on mine. Then came the elbow and the shoulder peg. till i finally just gave up. So will the other getter release really be die-cast not that my wallet is anxious to know.

So will the other getter release really be die-cast I was informed that the "normal" getters would not be die-cast. I think this is the first die-cast that Fewture has released and it was a magazine order exclusive. I heard that Fewture only made a limited number on this. SGP

Mh Version?? yeah Congrats.. I'm totally envious!!! But happy for you! miracle house version. they already made the ryoma black getter model kit, hope they do it in diecast. i've read in zinc panic that aoshima would release a black getter in august, hope this is it. but anyways, this fewture black getter is awesome, hope they make an anime based on this design. if they do, i'll definitely get this nice getter. the aoshima ryoma black getter (model kit):

Hey guys, www.toy-wave.com has the Black Getter Ryoma currently listed at $430, if anyone is interested. Just click on "New Arrivals" and scroll down. It's still a pretty damn high price, but maybe not quite as bad as what they're selling for on eBay?

Yeah it would be a cool to a series or a comic book of. Although if they did a anime of it. I expect it to be partly CG. Or else I could see the animators going crazy drawing the details... unless they revamp the design to make it more animation friendly for animators to draw.

I wonder about that seller [POPSALUTE] I was really tempted to get my blk getter from him as he had a much lower price, I was also thinking about that Gundam metal grade but I was deterred due to his rash of negative & neutral feedbacks lately.
I saw positive comments in this thread about him but it still gave me the impression that it would've taken forever to get my item had i used him....hopefully i made the right choice of seller as i had to pay a significant premium for not choosing with Popsalute...time will tell

"then sell it back for 1500$ like today's gx 01rb " Pardon my ignorance but who the hell would pay that kind of $$$ for "boxset" of a mazinger DVD set with a SOC mazinger guess there are a lot of people crazier than i am For toys such as this blk getter i see where my $$$ is going Not only is it limited but the quality, engineering invloved etc. but for a gx-01rb? Why don't I just buy a GX-01r on ebay and custom paint it to the gx-01rb's paint scheme then buy the entire set of the mazinger dvd for about $50 on a side note: i don't think i can resist not opening my blk getter so if i do end up selling it it would be a MIB rather than a MSIB

Hi, I'm sure Pop salute will honor all deals he done about Black Getter. If not, as i presume that most of us paid with Paypal, there is no worry to have, i always trust him, but as Lurker X said : time will tell...

I don't give a damn about the gx-01rb. Any toy that only ever gets sold as MISB, never to get opened might as well be a boxed piece of sh*tcake IMO. Honestly, other than the collectibility resale value, it's not that cool. There's nothing special about it. But it's a black version? Get out your can of black spray paint and buy your $70 gx-01r and save yourself a sweaty $1000. If I had it I would sell it no matter what the going price was. *ahem* Guess what just arrived in the mail even as I am in the middle of typing my message. Well brothers, I've got some NOT MISB toy playing to do that involves opening a box and some major heavy metal..

I opened my rb and i liked it. I wouldnt care what the price is. It was just nice to know the value now. But, I dont anticipate to sell the darn thing. My only thing was to be completist about my black versions.... I would also open the getter as well. Just I wont do what I did when I was young and fling my godaikins all over the place. Now, I am more careful.... I just try out the joints and put everything back where it was. So, if later on, if I got out the hobby, and I decided to sell it, then it would be when opened or not it would still be worth a good coin. I bought it at a lower price, so if that is the case and I hold on to it, I can get a fairly good return. Right now I am already up more than the price of a black getter.... So, I cant complain....

Well i don't care too much for what you don't care, i just care that when i resell it again i will cost more, at least double for what i paid and i'll be getting a few new socs, i was just asking for opinions if to buy it or not. I don't want to use a damm spray thats really dumb only if it was home made.

That I am not sure it would because the fewture models never had a history of increasing prices... I know the socs do. you can try your hand with getter and see if it does..... My personal take is that it wouldnt. Besides, anyone know whether fewture decides to do another run or did they say that it is only 500pcs? Or is there more? No one knows. So, if that is the case, you are indeed taking a chance. But if it pays off, good for you. If it doesnt, well you can open it then...
