Guys, I have added two more new pictures in my last post. Check it out.
Mudrock, I would recommend to get GFF RX78 instead of MSiA Strike Freedom. Surely this new RX78 has better articulation than its predecessor ie. GFF#0004. Katoki has done a good job in this one indeed.

i dont understand whats so great about the gff line i meant their painting is crap. look at all those missed spots and stuff. i mean why would you want this smaller sized action figure when you can build the nice clean sharper MG version. maybe tats just cuz im a perfectionist but i jsut cant stand those machinese painted toys

I think I have shared this either in this or other forum before. I beg you not to compare action figure with model kit in this manner. They are totally different categories. If you insist to compare in this manner, I would like to highlight you the following for your consideration and understanding:
1) GFF (Allow me to use this general term for GFF/Zeonograph/CR here) falls under action figure category. Action figure is not model kit. Just like you can't compare penguin with ostrich eventhough they all are bird family.
2) I believe that GFF is targeted to those who love figures with superb details and have too little time to get their hands dirty to construct and paint model kits like me. In short, We are action figure collectors not a kit modellers.
3) Although there are some missed spots as you pointed out on the figure, the overall presentation is staisfactory and acceptable to me. In fact, this problem is minor and can be rectified like model kits (Don't you know about that?). Furthermore, if I were given an opportunity to paint the GFF figure with my present panting skill, I don't think I would be able to do a better job than the painting professionals. Although their painting is not perfect but professional enough to me.
4) Different people have different interpretation of the term of "perfectionism". Your standard of perfectionism my be different from others. Nothing in this world is absolute but rather relative. In my concept of "perfectionist", presumably it's applied in the context of kit-modelling. As a perfect kit modeller, the person should be perfect in every nitty gritty thing that he does: from thought to finish or from constructing to painting. Are you up to that standard?

first of all. i dont paint either, and i dont consider myself a "good/professional" modeler. and i do understand that gff line is a actionfigure while models are on a whole diff level. but for me, i rather spend less money on the model and just do a little work and get the satisfaction of building it than spending more money on an smaller, less detailed, bad painted, action figure. and look at my gundam ka. now this was all done without painting and without a whole lot of time. i did this while watching tv ... and dont you agree that the results are getter than the gff this is just my opinion though but i would never waste my money on a gff version of a ms when there is a model for it

If I were a modeller, I would not be satisfied with the model simply constructed without painting. An unpainted model gives me a "toy-like" impression eventhough you have stuck the decals on it. Therefore, I would not waste the money to buy something which requires painting skil.

Writing a review for it? I am sorry and don't think I am good at writing an essay.. If you really want me to do a detailed review of it, well, it would take me ages to do... but for a brief one, i am sure I can do it.
By the way, a rumour says that CR#7003 will be Destiny in January 2006 and GFF#0029 will be God Gundam & Novel Gundam (??) in February 2006. Not sure how reliable the rumour is..

Glaw...7003 is Strike Freedom remember, 7004 is to be destiny... and Providence, the 7003 hasn't been out for months. It kept getting pushed back, so now (hopfully) it'll be releasing in November.

Guys sorry for a typing error on my last post. I should say CR#7004 instead of CR#7003 for Destiny.

Murdock. Where did you get your info that CR #7004 is going to be Destiny? I hope it is, since it's my favorite Design in Destiny.

I just got this one in the mail and I don't really think I'm impressed. Are all the shoulder latches flimsy on this Fix? I can't even even hardly move the shoulder without the shoulder flap almost poppong off. Also, the sheild does not go on too well. And the paint on the head was a little too messy, especially around the red that goes under his eyes. It did'nt cover the whole part that is supposed to be red. But again, the thing that bothered me the most was the shoulders. Is it just mine or is this a design flaw? If so that stinks because I was going to start collecting the Zenography figures to go along with this one.

If those GFF toys weren't so fragile, and expensive, I'd get myself a couple. THanks for the pics!
