I just received my Gundam Fix Figuration #0004 G-Armor today; and all what I can say is "YUCK!" I was expecting a bad figure but not that bad! It feels very cheap in your hand, comes w/o the beam sabers, loose at some parts (as I read earlier in some reviews), specially, the upper torso. I wish there was a GFFN RX-78  However, if you use it just for display (as a statuette not as an action figure), it's fine. |

Yup like I said you should have gotten a Robot Spirit version the new version of the RX-78 is pretty cool and cones with a ton of weapons. But like you said as a display piece this should be fine.

Thanx but my problem with the Robot Spirits figures is that most of them (not all) seem like plastic "toys" to me more than action figures! I also like version Ka more than the less-marked RX-78. So... I guess I am not really interested in the Robot Spirits figures. It is true that the GFF make a good display figures but the only real annoying part is that even when you try to give them a new display fixed pose, parts must fall here 'n there and you reassemble 'em. GFF? hmmm, they should call it "Gundam Falling Figuration"  ;D Yet, I am not really upset about the figure (or the next GFF "Alex" I am getting soon) as I am still not a big Gundam fan. Cheers! |

If the main reason you got this because of the style and markings you could have gotten a RS figure and bought 1/144 markings they sell em at HLJ and there pretty cheap. Or even gotten a Ka version model but like you said what done is done and now you know. Hopefully you'll like the next one better.

You should think bout getting a GM Gundam and Guncanon they would look sweet with the RX-78 and their pretty iconic.

 The upgraded cousin has arrived...    Little paint improvement and slightly bigger size...but same quality, though! You should think bout getting a GM Gundam and Guncanon they would look sweet with the RX-78 and their pretty iconic. |

The GM I'm talking about is RGM-79 GM, the one in your pictures is RGC-80-1 GM Cannon Test Type. They did make a FIX of the RGC but unfortunately not of the RGM or Guntank. Dammage 7- How do you like you Alex? I have one as well but the fix 2.0 joints seem a little loose. I mean I understand they want use to be able to display it in many poses but it also made the figure extremely unstable (mine anyway). I just left mine in Full armor mode since I have the 0018 Alex.
mechamasterj - Really? Do you own one? I have wanted to pick up these figures but never heard any reviews from them.

Yes I do and it's friggin awesome!! Gff gun cannon is cool but no better then your average display piece. Only problem is you will have a hell of a time tracking down and the cost has gone up on them considerably ! They yokkata or Tokyo hunter if interested.. Also the SCM doms are incredibly cool too
