The colors look Photoshopped...
In any case, it looks nice, but lately I'm not too impressed with the looks of the 25. Maybe it's the resin prototype, but it looks gangly and floppy. Fighter mode is nice though. Anywhoo, I hope it gets better, and I also hope the prices go down a little further.

Besides the heads and the colors, is there anything else that's supposed to be different between the VF-25 and VF-25S? Which will likely be the more popular one and why? Thnx.

Accessory-wise, the VF-25S is normally seen with full armor as opposed to the VF-25F which usually has fast-packs, so I'd imagine that if an addition release with full-armor were done, it would be the VF-25S.
The 25F is the hero's mecha, so technically it SHOULD be the more popular one, but then again the Skull paint scheme has always been the most popular valk scheme, so it's tough to say, there.

Thanks quinjester. I haven't had a chance to see the show yet so your info is helpful.

Stores are finally putting up preorders for the VF-25s, and damn they're (relatively) cheap. I'll be amazed (and overjoyed) if these releases include the fastpacks. If they DO, then this release will be like a direct, full-on broadside to Yamato's Macross line. It's already a shot across the bow, as it is.
Joyous times!

Image Anime typically has some of the highest prices even when on sale. BBTS prices have also gone up though sometimes they have good deals on pre-orders. I wonder if Betatoys will carry these pieces and for how much. Has anyone bought from Betatoys? Good experience?

I'll bet Betatoys and probably Lost and Found toys will probably both carry them, both of whom I recommend very highly.

I like the small details, but the cockpit hinge still needs work and I'm hoping the head is tweaked (please let it have a clear plastic visor). Overall it looks good.... One thing for sure is that I have more faith in Bandai so I will go ahead and preorder these guys. Any news if fastpacks are included? There are also pics here BTW: www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-68229-1-1.html
