Jus had a bad transaction on ebay selling a KO Gaiking robot. The buyer from Italy claims at first that the item came without any packaging or bubble wrap causing a broken leg. I asked for pictures on how it arrived and I could submit for claim as my local postal services allows compensation. I also asked why would any post office except a package without packing and I am doubtful that any buyer would accept an item unwrapped. He changed story all of a sudden and said that item was badly packaged and submitted to Paypal for a partial claim. I just think the item is fine thats why no pictures were provided and he wants to make a fast one out of this. I think he's a scam. Benefit of the doubt, I will not post his nick as he has 100% feedback still. See how Paypal deals with this.

wrcfan, do you think the package was opened by like Homeland Security or some drug agency thinking it was a way of shipping drugs? Like in those movies when they melt the dolls down for cocaine?

Sorry to hear about that bro. I stopped selling to Italy and France for the same reason. Buyer would claim that the item was broken or damaged, would not provide pictures, and would request partial refund. Unfortunately, every single time, Paypal would rule in favor of the buyer and I would get screwed. So my solution was to either not sell to them via Ebay and not accept Paypal as payment (Paypal did not have the "Gift" option back then). That was the only way I would sell and ship there. }D

I have read stuffs about dealing with Italy and their messed up postal services. I dealed with this buyer as he has 100% feedbacks so I thought it would be fine. He does not provide me with any pictures or answers back and changes his story in Paypal which is what I did not like.
Anyway, I have put in my inputs to Paypal explaining that my local postal services are super stringent with how we pack our stuffs as they accept compensation if damaged. See how it goes.

And thanks TMZ for the advice. I will not deal with Italy again.

Some updates, I won the dispute. The buyer didn't submit any prove that the toy was broken, bcos I believe it wasn't broken in the first place. But the bloody joker gave me a negative feedback (WTF) on eBay! Anybody knows if I can dispute this?

Contact Ebay, but I don't think there's much you can do if Ebay doesn't wanna do anything about it. Just give him a negative feedback as well.

I gave him a positive feedback way earlier on when he paid for item already. Now I know why some sellers will let you have feedback only upon receiving theirs. Damn..

You got it. It's probably prudent to wait until the transaction is totally complete before posting feedback.

I think negative feedback is erased when you have a dispute case and you can't leave negative feedback for a buyer

No, its still negative on my feedback. I do not know why despite I won the dispute with obvious reason. I have emailed both eBay and Paypal regarding this as I can't seem to find any link to rectify this. See how it goes. I think negative feedback is erased when you have a dispute case and you can't leave negative feedback for a buyer

First purchase and box was open and damaged. They sold me a used item as new. They refuses to refund or offer a return.
Buy at your own risk.

Box collectors should avoid HLJ too. They like to shrink wrap the toy boxes to protect the toys instead before shipping out in the carton boxes causing wrinkles.

I got the robot spirits doraemon from HLJ and the box was lightly crushed and also suffered multiple tears from the shrink wrapping process. Not a big deal because it wasn't expensive, but I will not be able to display that box.
