Welp, sorry to say that this seller is a fraud. After his email, I've heard *nothing* despite repeated emails asking him what was up. I finally wrote him after a couple of weeks and told him to get back to me within 24 hours or I'd have to report him. Still nothing. So unfortunately, I've reported him to PP and eBay and the matter is in their hands now. We'll see what happens. One good thing about this situation though: makes working with great traders/sellers/buyers on this board much more fulfilling knowing that we tend to take care of one another and we don't have to worry about this kind of BS as much. Much props to all of ya. j*ryu Hey man, I got a response from my seller as well. "First of all, I like to apologize for your concern. I did not fully inspect the item before putting on ebay. This is my mistake and I will take full responsibility. I do have a few other sentai items that I have not put up on ebay yet. Can you give me a few days to put pictures together for you to see if you are interested. I will let you have first hand on the products before other buyer. If you think otherwise, I can also refund your money immediately. Please let me know what do you want me to do. I am very very sorry for this transaction." It seems like both of our sellers are willing to rectify the situations in way or another. I'm glad that you could at least have some option in terms of your transaction. I guess as toy collectors we will have to make an extra effort to doublecheck or even triplecheck items in general, especially at the going rates for some of the toys. Glad you got it somewhat resolved. j*ryu

I feel for you man, sorry about what happened. Same thing happened to me last year with this ebayer named misteroga or something. I bought 3 Takara Masterpiece Convoys from him and never got it. Of course when I complained Paypal said its more than 30 days so they cant do anything (the SOB said it will take 4 weeks to ship) so I got screwed big time. I wish I know where the jerk lives I think I'll send my friend Guiddo his way when I find out. LOL. That ba$t*rd!

I forgot to post a conclusion to my transaction. The seller responded after I reported him to eBay and Paypal claiming that he had been out of town suddenly on business. He offered the substitute items again or a refund. I chose the refund and he then paypal'd the money over. Since I had already given him an ultimatum and left negative feedback after he had not responded, I went ahead and asked to withdraw the feedback from his rating. This effectively takes away the "-1" point from his score but still leaves my comments for everyone to read. Oh, and I got to keep the busted watch. Whoo. But, I got my money back and that's that. So..end of story. Thanks for the support fellas. j*ryu Welp, sorry to say that this seller is a fraud. After his email, I've heard *nothing* despite repeated emails asking him what was up. 'mini-van_hobby' Fast shipper and the toys were new, but VERY crappy shipping took the smile off my face. Corners of the boxes were damaged and bent, and he shoved the GX-06M into a box that barely fit (boo hoo hoo!). We needed two people to forcibly slide this toy out of the box it came in! He also refused to issue feedback even after he was paid (the very next day) until we gave him our feedback first (obviously ready to give as good as he'll get). That had already worried me. Anyway, we'll not give him any feedback, we don't want to take a knock on our rating too. I won two auctions from him, so he knocked $5 off the shipping of one of the items... but I ended up paying $27 in shipping anyway. And we're in the same CITY. I had to pay shipping because no pickups were allowed, which is just fine, it was one of his rules, but for $27 friggin' bucks, you'd think he could've used a bigger box and thrown in some bubble wrap or styrofoam chips! It just wasn't right! These collector toys weren't treated with the proper respect. I wasn't angry at first, I was thrilled with my toys, but thinking about it more and more has bugged me so much I had to post. I finally received my GX-06M...I have the same sentiments...I live in Vancouver which is a few minutes from Coquitlam where the seller lives but it took him quite awhile to send it. The condition of the box is atrocious-both the packing box and the actual toy box itself. At least it really looks like it hasn't been opened yet. I still haven't put the robots together as I am in the office as Iam typing this. I had a bargain with the toy but the customer service of this seller could sure use an improvement.

Probably this guy is so pissed that he's not getting much for his 06Ms that he's treating the toys like crap before shipping them out. I've been to Mini-Van's actual store in Richmond and the guy behind the cash register is equally unfriendly in real life.

I'm adding mine: NEVER BUY froim appleland_combay. of all his lousy 29 positives, he rips off additional money from people after auction's end with the excuse of paypal\bank charges, insanely high shipping prices - I wrote hime twice b4 auction's end, but no reply from him, guess why...-.
When you point all flaws out, he threatens you with negative feedback.
A total loser. $50 for a standard airmail? sure....

Cedar, Where exactly in Ricgmond is his store located? What is the name? And where is J-Hobby again? Thanks.. Address and phone number? Don't know exactly, but it isn't hard to find. You'll find it in the building across from Ultra Action (Cygnie's Store) located at Pacific Plaza (Cambie & Garden City Rd). It's on the ground floor and in the corner inside. They have a lot of Gundam stuff, but nothing really eye catching. There's actually another toy store in the area called DSX2 that faces Garden City in the 2nd building in. I've never been in there as they were closed, but it looks like they specialize in videogames with some robo stuff.
