I had dealing with this seller a few times. He is fair. When it comes to any on-line auction, it's "buyer beware". You could have asked for more pictures (of the back). If you just assumed it's complete, well, it's too bad. If you are not sure, bid accordingly (I had a $25 bid on that item).
"he refuses to comply with buyers' rights." Hey, people call it the EvilBay for a reason. What right is that?
"he doubled the shipping fees" People do that all the time. Unless it's explicitly stated in the auction text, it's up to you to find out. I emailed the guy for exact shipping to Canada before I placed my bid.
I am not defending the seller. He's not a friend or something like that. But I just think people should use more common sense when it comes to eBay. At least it's not too expensive a lesson.

V, daikengo here is not daikengo on ebay.. also Italian but not atopunch.
p.s. sometimes I wronged also me for shipping costs.. I told to the buyer 25 for example. If I paid 18 I returned money... for 2 times.
this I call honesty!

he was fair with you maybe.

I did asked for all infos. I'm an old ebayer, reaching 20 years of collecting so far. He just lied, plain and simple.
he refuses to comply with buyers' rights. Hey, people call it the EvilBay for a reason. What right is that?
I asked him for details, about shipping for example. You might have received his email because i didn't.

Since you bid on that auction, there was nothing about shipping. I asked him the weigh of the toy, to make calculations myself on USPS site. No reply. No cooperation whatsoever. He simply wanted to rip my money.
I am not defending the seller.
You're actually doing so, but you're assuming I'm dumb. I simply asked multiple times this seller to do his part, and he did not.
He's not a friend or something like that. But I just think people should use more common sense when it comes to eBay. At least it's not too expensive a lesson.
yeah...whatever...I'm not giving up.

Why did you bid if you get no reply???
That's the point of my post. People can't assume anything when if comes to on-line auction. If it's not clear, ask, bid accordingly or just don't bid.

Sorry, I mistyped, I am not a native speaker and maybe a little comprehension for people who doesn't speak perfect english can be useful sometimes. Anyway, he replied to my emails, always avoiding replies to my direct questions. So, I decided to bid. And he has a good FB rating, so since he replied to my emails I thought it could worth the effort. My mistake. He is a scumbag. Avoid.

People, Mr. Andy Thong a.k.a. popsalute on ebay just ripped me off US$ 355 on regular ebay auctions. I claimed my paypal payment but they got back with US$ 180 only, you guess why... he replied a friend of mine on a (fake) auction question, but he avoid replying me. He is a total scum, avoid.

Andy Thong? I did private deals with him over 2000$ USD, I always get my items with the best protection. Since it is private dealing there's no buyer's protection or wut so ever, just based on trust.
Just my experiences toward this guy.

Ya, I have bought from Andy, and I trust him 100%. Popsalute is a bit expensive compared to some, but the trust factor is worth it to me.

As I said, regular ebay auctions, total theft.I am working with my bank to get my full money back. Moreover he was recently suspended from ebay, and reintegrated maybe 2 or 3 days ago. Everyone can play double face, that's an example.

wilsonbatman messed up with my Godaikin GodSigma auction. He bid on my item and retracted it 3 DAYS LATER because he said he put the wrong amount. Yeach right! This guy is a repeat offender as you can see from his feedback profile. I reported him to Ebay for not following the rule. I also put him in my BBL. According to Ebay, one can retract a bid as long as it was done IMMEDIATELY after placing the original bid and then IMMEDIATELY placing a bid with the correct amount. wilsonbatman obviously didn't follow that rule. Edited: wilsonbatman has changed his id to 123kidsfashion. contact.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ReturnUserIdHistory&requested=123kidsfashionPut him in your Block Bidder List if you don't want him messes up your listing.

hi, i also trust at 100 per cent Pop Salute who is one of the serious Hk toydealer that you can buy from. Dai-X, what do you buy from him ? Fewture model Black Getter Ryoma Mode ? This toy is not ready to ship for time. Sometime people don't reply to mail in the following minutes because some are ills, some computers crash and some just live between auctions. Contact him again, i'm sure you'll find an answer because it's also a nice guy who do his best if problems comes.

I won 3 items, all on the shelves now. Sent him money, no reply whatsoever. I had a paypal claim, won it, but got back only half of the amount because, guess what, popsalute took em off just b4 someone could get em back. I am currently processing the thing with my bank, and I reported things to the chinese consulate in my city.
My experience with this high rated ebayer was simply awful. There's no possible reason for a theft like this.
He could have got a good customer with me. This is not very smart...

Watch out for this scam artist, he will file a chargeback , claiming that he has never received your shipped item. I suspect he works for USPS or one of his relatives works for USPS at one of the Anaheim offices. If you send item to him, especially through CanadaPost, it is very likely your item will be disappeared upon arrival, despite the fact that you employ any shipping service with tracking feature. You would not be able to track it down nor would you get the returned item (assuming it is unclaimed).

The guy is so late in shipping packages and he ships the wrong items 10% of the time, missing some items maybe 40% . The only thing I'm grateful is when i bought something worth 2000plus usd from him, that deal went well...but I would think twice to get something that big in value from him next time. Btw the MISB thing...is only 50% true most of the time. Recieve some soc like combattler with scrathes and stuff. I recommend that buyers email him constantly after paying him, BE MAD tactics is also effective.

just wanted to say that my only "not too good" experience with an ebay seller was with popsalute. I bought a gx-04b from him. according to him the gx-04b should have been in "brand new condition", "unused"!!! the grendizer I got has multiple flaws (has been played with extensively) and has a very big scratch on his breast..... else, okay... but this SOC was far from being brand new and unused.

looks quite clear that popsalute is not the seller he claims to be! Very far from being a good seller. I hope he's reading this. kudos to the popsalute victims like me.

wanna point out anothere HK seller who really deserve to be kicked in the ass: costorehk, totally otrageous shipping prices, for a tiny envelope he charged US$ 25 while he spent us$4, doesn't combine shipping, terrible communication...AVOID IF YOU DON'T WANT PROBLEMS.

Ah yes, Mr. NO COMBINE SHIPPING himself. I've dealt with him a number of times, ok so far.. but from what I understand he is not one to work through any problems. AS IS, WHAT YOU SEE WHAT YOU GET etc. And yes, shipping is ridiculous. That's where most of his profit comes from, and is why he won't combine.
