Well all I can say is I have dealt with Carlo a few times and he is definitely a straight arrow. I cannot blame the guy a single bit for making the post. I mean c'mon the guy went above and beyond the call of duty here to do a fellow member a favor and didn't even get the courtesy of a head's up. A simple phone call or email would have done the job. It's a small step to make but it does make a huge difference in a transaction.

I would like to nominate HobbyLink Japan (http://www.hlj.com) for the following reasons: 1) Poor customer service. 2) Damaged goods resulted from poor packaging. 3) Forced customer to accept unwanted purchase even if it is not shipped out. 4) Unethical business practice. Selling poor condition item to their customers and try to blame on courier. 5) No replacement nor reimbursement for damaged goods. Stay away by all means.

Same here, received a damaged item from HLJ and I asked them if I could exchange it they told me to email Bandai for that matter... WTF? Email Bandai Japan?? First of all, I don't think Bandai Japan will ship oversea even if they are willing to exchange it for me and second, I bought the item from HLJ and why should I contact Bandai and not them?
Will never order from them again.

Will never order from them again. I've been ordering from HLJ.COM for quite a while. It's possible that Bandai doesn't have a return policy for their items, which may explain the email you got. AFAIK, HLJ will 'try' to get a replacement if the toy company offers it, or if there are replacement parts/item available. Try emailing HLJ again and get a confirmation again. I also receive d a damaged toy from them before, but got a shipping confirmation for the replacement within a week of exchanging emails. Just ask again. EDIT IN: All OT posts deleted. From here on in, stick to the topic.;D ;D ;D

I want to add Animerobot to the bunch.I ordered 3 SD.Musha-Gundam cloths from them which were reasonable at 39.00 euro.each.However the shiping was ridiculous at 50.00 U.S. for 3 light items but I bit the bullet because I needed the 3 and rarely see them on YJ or E-bay.What I got were 3 crappy Taiwanese bootlegs.Nowhere in the description did it say they where knockoffs. As soon as I saw the boxes something seemed wrong and the toys compared to the Bandai's are just not acceptable.I will contact them and repost what happens.

Just had major issues with a seller on Ebay by the name of choco_mk. Won a GX-36 Ideon from him in early April and was told shipping would be about 14 days. That time has come and gone and now this seller will not respond to my e-mails. Upon getting his contact info from Ebay his phone number was bad and the account was under a fraudulent name "Kitty Hello" which is obviously not the sellers real name. Also the sellers e-mail address that Paypal had is also bad. Any way just wanted to give everyone a heads up to stay away from choco_mk on Ebay.

I'd like to nominate Ebay buyer orangebid. This bidder gives Ebay a bad name.
I sold him three toys and for all three toys he turned around and tried to extort a refund from me threatening negative feedback. He is also unwilling to return items for a refund, choosing instead to continue extorting money. I finally left negative feedback.
He shill bids without you telling him and then turns around and expects compensation in the form of a discount.
One toy 'mysteriously' came to him broken. Another toy 'miraculously' had the gunpod disappear.
140 auctions over the last 2 months and he is the only complaint I have had. Its hard to keep it in persepctive after dealing with such a scammer.
He goes by the name Lake Chan, from Brooklyn NY. I'll bet some of you may have had problems with him in the past.
You will all do yourself a favor by blocking him from bidding on your auctions.

nominating "calebchu" for negative.
I won an auction, paid for it the very moment after, and He keeps me and my money in stall for 3 weeks. Then comes out saying he received a private offer and he won't sell me. Avoid.

never buy from Toyeast. I purchased one GDX, it came in opened, played, broken and repaired, there are visible paint scratches on all of the bots, superglue on gaiking's ankle probably due to a broken joint.
I emailed them to have it exchanged with a sealed one. Never got a reply. I am extremely pi**ed.
And they call themselves professionals....professionals my arse.

WILDCARD_SSUP
Listed his Energon aerialbot test shots and I "won" them....apparently what I won was the ability to lend him my $$$ while he failed to ship anything out...paid quickly, yet had to file a Paypal claim before it lapsed too far. Wildcard never responded and I felt no real choice than to leave negative feedback. Sure I got my $$$ back, but it was certainly a negative transaction and certainly bad service on his part. I honored my end of the transaction, he didn't honor his.
The day I got my refund from his Paypal default he e-mails me and offers to sell me the same items again...wow, so 60 days after I paid he still NEVER sent the items, my feelings of negativity are pretty cemented by this and really...if you cant send an item that was paid for after 2 months why would I send more $$$ and go through it again. Especially when a friend from another board was also posting about issues with Wildcard and a transaction with him?
Today I go onto Ebay and see he also left me a spiteful neutral feedback:
"I'm Sorry; It could've been worse, BUT I'M NO THIEF!!! Ta ta, bye bye then! "
and
"Glad you did, (Referring to the Paypal complaint) and u got ur $$, and someone else got the set!! Life's like that.."
Man I'm glad that sellers aren't allowed to throw down negatives any more....anybody want to bet this would have been a retalitory nagative if it were possible?
I'd avoid Wildcard at all costs!
