Held this in for awhile, but I had a bad, expensive experience with ebayer dx*chogokin*king, back in Dec/Jan involving a Clover DX Zambot. Item never arrived, tracking number never had any record of movement, and I got no response, or help from the seller with multiple nice emails sent through every avenue I could think of to reach him. I reported to Ebay/Paypal, but was too late to do much, since I gave the benefit of the doubt, my Mistake! Seems ok with little items, but has bad , or no feedback for expensive items, including this Zambot, and a Chokinzoku he allegedly had for sale. Could be an idiot that ships boxes to lala land, but I call out a scammer. Please beware! Btw, if anyone got a Zambot , or Chokinzoku by accident, would love to hear about it. LOL! I know this is old, but I did 2 warnings about this guy on 2 separate post! He used several IDs on Ebay to do his magic. Unfortunately both were locked. robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=RBay&thread=9610&page=1robotjapan.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=RBay&action=display&thread=9633

Thanks for the info Mikey. I wasn't on this board back in '05, so didn't know. Sad thing is, I did buy 2 smaller things from him in the previous year, that went through ok, though very slow.
The user name, dx*chogokin*king, has been inactive, on ebay, and the boards this past year. For sure, I keep him on my watched sellers list, if he pops up again, he's slammed. I'd like to know who he scammed for the $3600 Chokinzoku that never showed any history after sale.
Anyone in SoCal know what's his deal? Buyer beware!

next nominee is the seller "stupidcollectibles". I have strong suspects he shill bids on his items, overprice shipping costs and last but not least the items he sends over are not complete \ not as described. Not to mention the facts that he's all reply-to-email guy b4 getting money and after he got it he disappears.
paypal dispute is on right now.
if you read the feedback you'll understand better. AVOID-AVOID-AVOID!

Bad - horrible Ebayer - lovelypei
who sold me the GX - 04S, however he shipped the item to me in the original box without having it put into a brown box of some sort.
Now I got the box taped up and has labels all over by the post office. It pretty much render useless. So now my collectable is no longer has a "mint box"
The seller even has the guts to tell me i won the bid lower than what's in the market and that I didn't asked him to double box it.
escalated to Paypal, hoping they would do something.

awesomeactionfigures.com aka mvbadboy on ebay
I ordered a gx-18 from this guy around the 15th of may, and paid through paypal that day. After hearing nothing, I mailed him on the 18th. He wrote and said he was shipping on the 19th. Over the course of the next 2 weeks, I wrote him about 4 times with absolutely no replies (check his neutrals/negatives at toolhaus.org to see his communication problems). It wasn't until I threatened to open a dispute with paypal that he wrote me back and apologized for not being able to supply the figure. I then had to wait about another week to have my money refunded.
Apparently, he sells items he does not have, as I saw other references to this sort of thing online about him.
So, yes, I did get my refund in the end, but it was a frustrating and negative experience for sure. Oddly enough, he still had the gx-18 on his website for a bout 2 weeks after he refunded my money. It is no longer listed now.

I'd advise you to avoid this ebay seller:
isabellaibebe
I purchased a Bandai GE-16 Black Masked Rider figure from this ebay seller.
As I opened the item the right forearm fell off.
It seems more like a manufacturer's defect as opposed to the item being damaged during shipping.
Regardless, I'm out $38.99USD, as the seller wouldn't replace or refund the item.
Just bad customer service plain and simple.
Too bad as I would have purchased more Masked Rider GE series from him/her because he/she as a good selection.

Ebay seller: animeking_inc
I actually bidded on couple of items sold by this seller, and he pulled the sale in the last 10 mins of the closing bid, because i was the only bidder. The price was ok, just a bid below online store like $30 to $30 dollars.

Let the cops do it. Even for a mere US$150. Threatening your family, as empty as those threats may be, is not acceptable. It might not be a fortune, but it's still a fraud. And now he's adding threats on top of that. Hopefuly, he won't be such an ass and will change his ways when he gets the first call from the police.

I would love to call the cops but honestly dont think they help in matters like this where the internet is involved, even though this is a valid threat, then again i guess it cant hurt to look into it. yes those are the figures their are two of them one of megaman x and one of megaman zx, a close friend of mine bought both of them from yahoo auction they use revoltech joints and made by a team called harvest, one of the things you need to know is that they are really small i mean like even smaller than the ryu street fighter revoltech and my friend was abit disappointed by them, I will ask him to take pictures but i just checked in yahoo auction right now and they still have them in auction

making threats like that is a felony. ever since 9/11 making threats like that is a terrorist act and is punishible with jail time. you should not let this thief get away with it. i had a freind who went to jail for threatning to kill someome. the authorites do not take these threats lightly. that combined with the fact that he committed fraud makes for a very solid case. another thing is if these things take place across state lines and international borders it becomes a federal crime. federal crimes mean that there is no time knocked off for good behavior.
your other option is to get gangster on this fool. hire some hackers to wreck his life. do a zabasearch on this guy get his address and let the fun begin. there is plenty of ways to make this guy pay. especially in this digital age. personally i would do both.
the fact that he sent you a threatening email is sheer stupidity on his part. a verbal threat is harder to prove and more subject to scrutiny. an email from his email address on his computer is an almost guaranteed conviction. you may not get your money back but you can send him to jail.

Dude! Call the police right now! If he is not bluffing, he at the very least has your address. You should be able to get his from your Paypal payment details - along with a real name. CALL THE COPS AND FILE A COMPLAINT! It is not only you he threatened, but your spouse and children as well. Either that or take matters into your own hands, but don't give this punk the opportunity to hurt you or your family. By the way, police DO TAKE this kind of stuff VERY seriously.

Heh, guess i should post an update to this story!
thanks for your support guys but I actually got the guy to refund me my money. I think he realized his stupidity and when I shared some nice words with him and threatend to report him (even though I already did in addtion to posting his little email on all sites that i could find he was active on) he apologized came up with some dumb excuse and proceeded to refund me my money. i am more upset that paypal refused to do anything in the situation when that is thier exact purpose

Glad it worked out for you. I hate hearing stories like this. And yeah, paypal sucks for both buyers and sellers protection.

Glad to hear you got your money back, though it's a pity he didn't get himself a visit from the boys in blue. I'm vaguely curious as to what his excuse was, but I suppose it doesn't matter.
Just goes to show that with anything on the internet, caveat emptor. Buyer beware.
