glad to hear it all worked out (finally). on a different note, it's nice to see the positive transaction thread (56 pages) far surpass the negative transaction thread (11 pages).

Yes. Even better, it seems most of these 11 pages are posts about users not from this board and "solidary ranting".

Some angry TF collector (banned multiple times from multiple sites) from the US was harrassing me and my wife a few months ago just before we had our baby. Death threats, homophobic comments, that kind of stuff. I managed to find his home address with Google and called his local police dept. Never heard from him again. I even found a site with a picture of him dressed in military gear with a mask where he was professing his love for guns, cruel jokes, etc. Seriously messed up kid.

Negative to seller "Gashapon Shop" on fleabay, user ID "big6803100310". Item was purchased a month ago, seller has not responded to any e-mails regarding shipping info or tracking number (even though it was explicitly stated in the auction that a tracking number would be provided). Currently pending a paypal dispute/claim. I'd recommend avoiding them altogether.

did anybody here buy anything recently from an ebay member " gioki_rari "? He sold quite a few items, lots of vintage stuff. I won a Daitarn figure and when I go to contact him, it says item is no longer available and that he is no longer a registered user, so I wanna see if anyone is dealing with this guy in case hes ripping me off

Sounds like a rip off to me chachipower. I had a feeling! haha cause he was selling a bunch of cool stuff and he said it was his brothers stuff that passed away. I shoulda known better when I noticed he hasnt conducted business in forever.. no big loss, it was one of those small cheap Daitarn figures they would sell at train stations and supermarkets. Im out 8 bux. I feel sorry for the others that paid big bux for some other vintage stuff! Now if I could just find out where the vintage Sankan-oh I won is..hope its not another scam, no response yet

Well, the Sankan Oh seller came through but the Daitarn 3 Seller " Gioki_Rari " was apparently a scammer, his name is David Webb and his email is d.webb79@yahoo.com so avoid this seller.
He is no longer registered on ebay but he'll probably pop up under a different name.
He gave me the run around and then disappeared. Hopefully the other people were able to get their money back, some were high priced items. You wait the whole time you are bidding, then win and get excited then wait for weeks to receive it, then get shot down in the end, sucks

beware of deadbeat ebay bidder bluebung31. i already won 2 cases against him awhile back. now he has been asking about shipping for other items that he wants to buy, even though he's already on my blocked bidder list. he must not think i would remember even though that was only 3 months ago. anyway i haven't answered any of his questions on how much is shipping to thailand.now he is having someone else ask through their ebay account. that buyer's name is x1977th. if you get either one of these buyers you are better off just cancelling their bid or just adding them to your blocked bidder list.

the only way i can ever find the blocked bidder page is through the "help" link. type in "how to block bidder" and then there will be a link to the blocked bidder page. i hope this helps out.

It is with great sadness that I must add to this thread with my own experiences, actually with a manufacturer's retail outlet and someone who has an account here: Shocker Toys.
After placing an order through their direct-to-consumer store for an in-stock item, I waited for two weeks, never receiving the item nor any notification of either shipment or a problem with the order. I placed several e-mails, never getting a reply. I called them, was informed "you should have gotten a shipping notice, send me an e-mail!", after which I did and once again heard nothing, even after repeated followups.
I have a paypal dispute currently in the works, but it's very disappointing that a manufacturer's direct-to-consumer store is this callous with regards to its customers, especially one who has even gone to the effort of trying to make an appearance on our own message board.
Needless to say, I can only recommend that people avoid Shocker Toys - if not their figures, then at the very least their online retail outlet.

Hey guys,
I was just wondering if anyone else has had negative experiences dealing with auctionjp.
I started to try to use his (their?) service and even after sending over $150 to secure auctions ($100 of which he claims he has not received despite him completing the PayPal transaction on his end) and so far everything has been pretty bad. Communication, auction wins and any basic information pertaining to our transactions and auction wins has been sparse to non existent, emails go days without reply and when he does they have absolutely no info in them.
Can anyone reassure me that this is just the way the service works or do I have to look into filing a fraud claim with PayPal?
Thanks guys
