I have always loved combiner Transformers. Can't beat the design of the G1 Combiners! I wish Hasbro would go back to the interlocking sockets like the orignal G1 combiners have instead of these magnetic versions. They just don't hold up well under the weight. Case in point, the Energon combiners, Bruticus Maximus. I am excited about the possiblity of these power core combiners.

I hate to be a wet blanket, but those things look clunky as heck! I'll pass...

Hasbro really needs to give us a release date (other than "soon"), these new images are killing me! I have a feeling it wont be until around Botcon.
You know, I could really go for an animal set.

BBTS has all this new TF stuff listed for August.

I have a feeling it'll be sooner than that, BBTS often posts "ball park" dates and prices because they like to list things before they receive official solicitations. There's only a few more new movie figures left, most of which are larger than deluxe so they should be looking for something fresh to put on the pegs. We've already see a lot of packaged shots, these should be ready to roll out fairly soon. The new animated series is said be coming in October and I'd like to think Hasbro isn't going to repeat what they did with Animated and not release figures until after the first season is over. I could see a June release for PCC and 3.0. I asked in one of the latest Q&As for them to give us a release time frame, hopefully they will, but I'm not holding my breath.

Well Double Clutch looks the best that I've seen, but still not interested. It just looks cobbled together and sloppy. Oh, look! The fender flips out to the side, so now if you spin around 3 times, and dot yourself in the eyes, and are 9 years old - it kinda looks like a foot. Oooo, and if you push this button, some rods extend kinda like the Hamburgler Fry Grabber from a Happy Meal ca. 1981. All you gotta do is plug it in higher up on the pile of plastic turds and its an "arm". WHAT THE WHAT? - I can't even believe this - I'm just mad about it now. After all that movie crap stomping on the Classics line, and... ugh! I understand that it'll sell, and these little spring-loaded gadgets are coming en vogue again, but dangit! I want to buy and have and own some TRANS-FRIGGIN-FORMERS!!! I would much prefer something like Super-Hyper Energon Optimus (whatever) with the vehicles appendages. Not that that was incredible or anything, but it was way more well executed than these.

But how do you really feel? The body bots on these are only Scout/basic size and the five-packs are "Voyager" priced. On the other hand the Generations/ Classics 3.0 line is Deluxe only. Odds are good both PCC and C3.0 will be released simultaneously since they don't overlap size assortments. Emerje

I hate where Transfomers has gone with their toy line. Combiners that only have one trasnformer in them? Cool, a transformer with 4 hot wheels for limbs. I think they forgot why combiners were so aweosme in the first place.
This entire line stinks, nothing looks good... maybe next time.

They've been spotted in Australia as well. I'm getting very excited, they should be hitting around here next month and I'm sure Classics 3.0 aren't far behind with War for Cybertron being released in one month.

It's nothing new.
