I am just going to hold till the end of August to see if the other Asia pbandai websites will sell the M9.
If not I will have to activate my Japan proxy to help me order a pair.

In the Japanese website page, it says that the product "may be available" outside of Japan on a later date.
I am pretty confident that this means we will see it listed on Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore p-bandai on a later date.
Be patient my friends. =)

CDJapan sent me an email and cancelled my PO for the MK9. Looks like I got to wait and see where else I can find a PO that doesn't need me to pay immediately.

It is upsetting to receive such an email. I would be very disappointed and angry if it were me, especially when this is a highly sought after item.
I ordered from HLJ and got the confirmation email.
The Aile Strike is in my order list and I did not receive any cancellation email.
Hope it stays that way.

In my opinion they lied. They saw the high prices and decided to sell through secondary channels.
You could have told them it’s fine and you will accept the damaged boxes but I’m sure they would have still refunded you

I was reading the RJ forum on and off to see if anyone here is also affected by the mysterious shortage of the 31A and true enough, a discussion has sparked off here as well.
Thanks for sharing the video I made on the discussion of the possible reasons for the 31A “shortage”.
Till now no one knows for sure what is going on and whether we will be getting our POs fulfilled by NY. The little good news is someome on the Macross world forums had his PO shipped out yesterday. So there’s still hope.
Let’s see how this turns out eventually. Fingers crossed.

Wotafa just posted his (quick) review (15-mins): --- ya know? We really need to get Charles(optimusprimesg) to review this DX. Maybe if it'll finally redeem the bot from his "experiences" with his GX-50... I am very honored to be remembered as a video reviewer, though I have stopped for more than a year since I moved to my new residence. For the DX Combattler V, I don’t plan to get it because I personally am not extremely impressed by it. Though I must say it’s not bad.

2nd round of PO was up yesterday at bandai Asia sites for China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. All sold out in hours. Japan PO still open.
Nippon yasan will probably use their multiple accounts to order a few hundred pieces and release only a handful for their 20 Nov PO.
Thereafter they will mark up the price like crazy when the product is out in May and July.

Thankful to be able to get mine last night at pbandai.
I hope they do a 2nd PO outside of Japan for those who missed it to get it.

NY has a habit of only listing a handful of the stock they can get for "hot" items. They tend to mark up the prices once the items are released.

I ordered 2 from HLJ but edited and changed to 1. Just to make sure I don't get my account suspended.

Any chance that they will reopen the P.O again? for SEA region I personally feel they will open another round of PO since the Japan one is still open. And this time the window may be open much longer. Bandai is definitely making sure that they fulfill the Japanese orders first before they allocate the balance to the rest of the markets. For Asia the limit is 1 per account because MB items always sell out in an instance (except the F91 option parts) For Americas, the GN Sword II Blaster is still available now with the 1 piece per account limit. High chance it is a slow mover hence Bandai decided to go with 6 pieces per account for Wing Zero. And unexpectedly it was sold out within 24 hours. But we know the bulk probably went to re-sellers and online shops since we see the item popping up at marked up prices. At this juncture, I would not jump on the panic wagon. I am sure there will be enough to go around.

Wow! 6 per account and it's sold out.
Lots of disappointment on the Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore forums
Looks like the only active site left is p bandai Japan.
I'm sure there will be a 2nd or 3rd round pre order.
Aside, anyone notice how small or short this figure is going to be? It's only 17cm. That's shorter than the metal composite RX-78, which I think is the current shortest metal composite figure.

Totally sold out in P Bandai Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan, and the website is extremely difficult to access.
Easy pre-order with smooth internet access for those in Japan and the window is still opened.

Those of you in USA/Canada are lucky. The Asia Tamashi websites outside of Japan (Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan) can only order 1 piece per order

There are some changes made to the figure.
1. The head sculpt is different now 2. There are more diecast parts. Thigh covers and front of feet
Still, it doesn't justify the 7000yen or 39% price increase from the original figure. They will have to give us a lot more reason for us to bite at that price.

Lucky draw only applies to Japan as the customers there only pay upon delivery.
Tamashi Web Limited customers in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and China, all have to pay at the point of pre-order. Hence customers in those markets secure the product once their order is completed.
