As long as it's Metal Build and Dx Macross, there's never enough to go around. Hoarders will scalp and sell at high mark ups and we are at their mercy.

Same here. Yes to GFFMC and no to the model kit. No time for kits these days. But I also hope if it’s ever a GFFMC, it will be a regular release. These days the exclusives are really a pain to get.

Since we are on the topic of metal build, seems like there is no intention for the reissue of the O Raiser for the Seven Sword/G and no full saber parts for the OO Quant. Very disappointed at that.

It’s going to be a challenge to order from HLJ this time. No advance search.

Thanks for sharing guys. Managed to pre-order the GX-85 from Amazon Japan. Totally not expecting this figure to be out of stock so soon in most online sites.

LOL that is why I said it’s a glorified SRC figure. In all fairness, I like the articulation. My one and only grip till now, which I mention over and over again, is the size.
For sure if it’s a SRC figure, I won’t have any issues with the size. But being a SOC figure where we had GX-31 as a combiner bot, I really expect it to be at least 20% bigger to be decently sized against its GX-31 counterpart.
Perhaps if bandai had made GX-31 1/2 the size, I would have felt GX-79 is well sized.

I could not find the adaptor piece in the tray yesterday. Perhaps I missed it somehow. My bad.
On the size, I have to say that the box was a lot of airspace and while I know it’s 18cm tall, I feel it would have been much better if they made him 20% bigger.

If you buy through buyee proxy for yahoo japan auctions, you will need to pay the full amount upfront.
Then it’s the wait till 26-28 October for the Seller to fulfil and send to buyee, who will then deliver it to you.
The price is way too crazy for this strike freedom. Close to double the price right after the PO is sold out and the Japanese sellers themselves are selling at a huge mark up. But I am sure most of the buyers are overseas ones.

Seems the only way is to get it via proxies based in Japan.

Quite unlike NY to mark up on a pre-order immediately but I supposed the 2 per account limit really makes this item extremely hard to get. Anyway it's sold out as well.

The Gunbarrel striker is sold out in P-Bandai Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan. All within 20 minutes of opening. Unbelievable!

If any robros in Asia can help a fellow robro in US, please PM me. Did you try Zenmarket? I could possibly help but it is not cheap to send it outside of Singapore. The cost of each piece is SGD310. Shipping within Singapore is SGD12. Shipping out of Singapore is the killer. It's around SGD70 to SGD90 a piece to America or Europe. And if I were to help, there's also the +5% paypal fee involved. So the total cost of each piece is around (310+12+90) x 1.05 = SGD433 = USD317 a piece. I think there are cheaper options around?

bro I wanted to ask, isnt there any outward swing ability in the thighs? seemed very limited I think even if there is any, it is extremely limited and the body splits into half before I can really stretch it outwards.

PO has opened for the M9 for Hong Kong, Taiwan, China and Singapore. 6 pieces per account. Rejoice Asian collectors. =)

Thanks for sharing my video review.
The instructions do warn that the paint may rub off if the torso is bent forward.
I examined the figure and find that there’s no allowance for the chest plate to be moved without scratching the waist. Not something that I’m willing to risk.

I am just going to hold till the end of August to see if the other Asia pbandai websites will sell the M9. If not I will have to activate my Japan proxy to help me order a pair. Just a heads up, if at the end of August and the M9 is a no show at Asia P-bandai, then the demand will be pretty high since EVERYONE will have to get it from japan at that point. Then there's also the Maximum allotment a Proxy can take. Once they max out they can no longer preorder it for you even if P-bandai is still selling it. Proxy stores are known to max out before per order close dates. If it's really a no show by end August, then everyone will activate their Japanese proxies to order this and the after market price will balloon.
