Those are some mighty lofty items to go after as they are extremely desireable pieces and will run in the thousands of dollars for decent condition and a few with be $5k + (Garada is impossible since there are like only 4? confirmed pieces in existence, so the U5 version will HAVE to do).

Question for all you guys out there. How do you display your Big Order Room? It's too big to fit in one of my Detolfs so it's sitting on top of one. The problem now will be dust or worse, one of the guys falling off and possibly breaking since the cases do vibrate a little when I open them to goof around with a figure or rearrange them and the BOR takes the entire top edge to edge. Are there any better display cases or even just a single item display case that any of you use that would fit the BOR?

Get them both! There's plenty of time until SRC GGGG comes out and then probably another 6 months after that until SoC GGG!

A DX to me would be on scale with the old Takara pieces ( 12" ) with all the accessories (pliers, dividing driver, goldion hammer, zonder core, etc...) and accessory display stand like the old days, plus have some way of incorporating a mini Guy figure into Galeon that impacts the fusion into GaiGar. Basically a $700 MSRP SOC

What would be even better would be a DX SoC

While the concerns are valid as far as it being released too close to the SRC, it's an entirely different line and size that might hit a different segment of the collector base. Up until just recently, I refused to get any SRCs as I wasn't interested in action figures of transforming robots and only collected transforming versions of GGG toys. A lack of new product for the series actually got me desperate for anything and forced me to give Choryujin a shot as it was super cheap. As soon as I got it I was hooked and immediately bought the complete line with upgrade parts in one giant purchase from YJ (minus Golden Destroyer as I dislike solid colored toys). This piece will hit the collector base that had my old mentality and are looking for an alternate to the CMs Corp pieces. I'm looking forward to it because I only have CMs Star GaoGaiGar V1 and its rather disappointing and I need a replacement since the V2 GGG is a bit pricey and the V2 Star GGG is insanely pricey.

So what's the shipping going to be like from various places so I know who to PO from? I live on the east coast and always go EMS since I'm damned impatient!

That review is spot on with how I felt when I got the set. It's just a glorified accessory set to complete the Big Order Room. And about the key, I'm glad I'm not the only one who has no clue what the hell it is for. I thought I was missing something or mine was broken....or that I was just a complete idiot for missing the point. Overall it was a necessity, but I was very very disappointed in their latest GGG SRC offering. Hopefully the GGGG gets released soon and can wipe away the poor taste this release has left in my mouth.

Great reviews and pics Cook! If I didn't already own the entire GGG SRC line to date (minus the Golden Destroyer GGG because I hate hate hate solid colored toys...especially gold), you're reviews would make me rush out and get them all. I'm interested in seeing where the line goes from here as there are still obvious holes in the series. I'm also interested in reading your review for Mic and Piggy. I was massively let down by the set, but it unfortunately is an essential piece to complete the Big Order Room.
As far as Tamashii/Bluefin at SDCC having no clue, it doesn't surprise me. Even though GGG has dominated the SRC line, it's not a huge recognizable name in the US like Gundam or the Rangers series are, so that would obviously be their focus for US distributions.
Gold, that J-Ark is probably in the 3.5-4 ft range. It would be amazing to get that diorama, but I couldn't even begin to think how much they would have to raise prices on pieces to get the whole thing out there broken up like the Big Order Room. Plus what characters would they distribute it with?

So who do we have left to make the collection complete? Obviously Genesic GGG and GaoFighGar are the big 2, but also let's not forget Mic Sounders robot form, Goldymarg, Gun Dober and Gun Glue, King J-der and J-der, KouRyu and AnRyu, TenRyujin, Galeon, GaiGar, Repli-Gar, Repli-GGG, Repli-Galeon, Gaigo, GaoGaiGo, transformed Phantom Gao....what did I forget? Plus it would be neat if they did something similiar to current action figures with a build-a-Zondar by including pieces of one of the EIs in each package. Then of course it would be really neat to get high quality diecast versions of all of the vehicles.

I'm looking to pick up some (actually all since I have none so far) of the GaoGaiGar series Super Robot Chogokin pieces. PM me with what you have to offer.

Hopefully I'm not too young to the boards to be asking this, but do you only do robots or would you consider Kamen Rider characters. Particularly Hasmai Jaguar!

That really is a beautiful piece. I'm more interested in the V3 villians, but that M2 has me double thinking. I'd actually seen a few on YJ lately and I actually tried to bid on one, but the seller had Rinkya blocked. Rinkya told me the reason was that the seller had a history of trying to cover up restorations and repro pieces and passing them off as untouched vintage.

That's unfortunate. Think you could get NekroDave from collectiondx to snap you some pictures?

Thanks! Now I just have to get him shipped. Slowly building my Jumbo collection. It's going to be a long journey though, I've become enamored with the Daltanious, Combattler and Voltes jumbos. Plus I need a true villian aside from my Unifive Garada.

Okay, just checking because that was me that won it. I'd never actually gone looking for the Giant Gorg jumbo, but the price seemed reasonable for a piece that I didn't have, so I went for it.
