It would be strange to not outright specify it as GX100 since they showed it multiple times. And what's wrong with Arc? Shin already has many die-cast figures and is also getting a metal build while Arc had almost no figures.
i dont like Arc, simple as that hehehe
Shin need to be in the SOC line along with Mazinkiaser, not to mention Shin was created waaaay before Arc
only god knows when they will release the MB version, some MB's toke years

No, I don't own Gurren Lagann, however CCS Mazinger Zero from the images and videos they had released, it's got better range of articulations than Sentinel Mazinkaiser in many parts. The Hagane Works is more like a dumbed down version of the Sentinel as it's missing some of the key joints,
alright, honestly i was thinking the same, that the joints system CCS are using is very good and will help with extreme dynamic poses, but sadly that wasnt the case, there is two ways for me to till if the figure have good articulations (joints) and good engineering, by doing two pose's
first the high kick pose and the second is the famous iron man pose
on my unit, GL couldn't do both, but that's doesn't mean its a failure, its still a great figure over all, it just not up there when it comes to the extreme dynamic pose
i dont have Sentinel Mazinkaiser since you know my opinion about it, but i do have the HW, and i can tell you the joints its missing is not a huge deal, i managed to do both of the pose i mentioned with ease (and even more)
i think that the HW Mazinkaiser is more play friendly and more durable than the Sentinel
now for the main topic which is Zero, i saw from the promo clips there is improvements exactly in the feet but the rest is about the same as GL, maybe that will help the figure become even more articulated than GL, also maybe the robot design will help
lastly i really hope they learned for GL and give us a good product, specially in the QC department, since all eyes are on them now, no loose joints no missing or duplicated parts, and for sure no bad assembled parts

hello Kaus, long time no see, you good ?
and actually i saw those, they are similar to the one they did for Gurren Lagann, im not sure if you got GL, but the articulation is not as dynamic as it should, its no even close to the Hagan work Mazinkaiser, but its not bad at all for the size and the weight you get decent articulation, for my another point, please check this post
as you can see the figure is good but there is some issues, its like having a beautiful car but it have some problems here and there, and thats my main point Bandai might be taking a nab at the moment but at least the QC are very low, they dont forgot to pack stuff or duplicate stuff, and if its happen its very very rare thing to see
i really hope they nail this Zero and update the joints for even more range articulation, the only thing i dont like about it is they let the LED leak to the mouth it looks like halloween pumpkin lol

Honestly, I don't know what magic Bandai is gonna pull to compete with this one. Sculpt, finish, size, light gimmick, weight, articulation (though not that extreme), articulated fingers, decent price point, this one has it all.
i highly agree with you it should be interesting to see what Bandai will do, specially since the last zero they made (SRC) was a bit of fail, tiny head, and the fist turn to some kind material thats unknown to humans
for i think they will tie this in some areas
sculpt, paint apps, articulation
again it would be interesting to see, i just hope they dont bite their tails and run away from the battle filed like they did with the DX Grendizer
Yeah, After GX-100, I feel Bandai needs to have a SERIOUS meeting how to handle 3Zero, GoodSmiles Hagane Works, King Arts and CCS. Bandai can't compete imho.... 3Zero and Hagane already won on "joint front." They're on another level. A step ahead of SOC.... Again, in my opinion, The ONLY advantage "SOC team" has is "laser like sculpt precision" and paint QC....That's it. OOPS! I forgot POSE+....now they're scary.
yea good thing you edited that because i was going to spam your inbox with Goshogun pics lol
for me personally i still have faith in Bandai i know the last "wow" figure i got was GX88 but still they could do wonders if they wants to
to be honest with you, i only see Art Storm (Pose + & Action Toys) as equal to Bandai, the rest not so much
CCS is still new and their figures are amazing but still not even close to Bandai stuff
3Zero and Hagane Works easily win in articulation department but still not there yet King Arts have the best Spazer in the market today but for the figures they need more, dont get me wrong here they are doing wonderfully but not better than Bandai
at the end we are the winners here since alot of companies are competing, i just hope every one stay sharp and bring their A game not half baked stuff

yeah now i am torn in getting a focker or a mechander?
i have both so i can give you an idea, i also agree with @super.Ultra.Robo.Rider
Mechander is light but its very beautiful and very detailed and its getting rare in the market, another point is that 5 Pro is not %100 to reissue they didnt reissue most of the stuff just repaints for Astroganger
Focker is so focking amazing even for a guy like me who was never a fan of Macross and didnt owne a modern figure from the show, BUT most of my Macross friends told me that there must be another issue for Focker or at least a reissue but without the first release bonus (which is a very lame stand)
so in short its totally up to you but if i were in your place i would go with Mechander robo and get Focker later

i have a new thoughts about this
i guess since the reveal Getter ARC with the road to GX-100 logo maybe it will be the GX-97
GX-98 will be Getter Kirik GX-99 will be Getter Khan
but there is still a chance for Ankoku Daishogun and God Mazinger
i just hope the get done with this already since i know they it will be a disappointment for me lol

hello guys, i just wanted to share with you my experience with this figure
i got this figure way back on the preorder craze along with the super parts set but i wasn't able to ship it until recently
with that said, this is my very first Macross figure (not sure if i could count Orguss II Olson Special ?) i give thumbs up for Bandai on this guy, the transformation was so easy, i was really surprised, it just OWNED every mode like a champ and it was really really fun to play with, the small details and small decals on the body are just amazing
the down side, the first release bonus stand is a freaking joke not highly articulated and annoying to get off, the stand that the figure comes with do a very similar job
also the super parts set are also a rip off not worth it AT ALL, looks cool but not a must for sure

hahahha not really, the only Sentinel i have is Juohmaru, and its just awful and overpriced
One to open, one sealed for his grand kids. S_Gokin, its not hard to understand. Sentinel may give us less diecast, but they give us more of this...since about a decade ago. 10 years later, I have yet to see a SOC knee bend as cool as this.
my grand kids will dig my body from the grave just to spit on it for giving them Sentinel figures lol
Sentinel have their ups and down, i still think their shin getter 1 is easily one of the best in the market today, but the price and some odd design choices drove me away from them

i agree with GetterBoi its just a typo almost every other site listed diecast in the material section i really dont understand whats going on here, Sentinel is giving a very small amount of diecast in almost all of their products combiners and noncombiners yet people wont complain about that, however when Bandai do it (they didnt btw) its suddenly a crime ? lol come on guys
