I think I prefer the Japanese box more. lol but I'm probably the minority here. The box is actually quite striking in person. You can't appreciate the shiny gold stripes from the photo. I'm glad I waited for the non-japanese version.

Congrats Coletron! I never heard of SC but you and another collector told me his good service. I'll have to give them a try. I already got billed by BBTS so Megazord is ready to ship. The service is excellent. The owner responds to emails and ships right away. He seams to get Bandai stock first, too. I'd preordered Mazinger ZERO from the BBTS. The BBTS still has it up for PO, but the Supreme Collector has it in stock. I cancelled with the BBTS and bought it from the Supreme Collector. I always bought gokins from the BBTS. But their prices aren't the best. And, I'm kinda pissed after getting a dented GX-71 box from them. Voltron is my favorite and I wanted perfection. I complained and sent a picture. But he didn't care. So, I've gone elsewhere.

My Megazord Has Arrived!
I think I'm the first to get mine from an American Vendor. I gave www.supremecollector.com a try, and I'm very pleased. I preordered and got it for $274.88 with free FedEx shipping. It was nicely packed in a heavy box. It was first surrounded by a layer of tissue paper. Then, bubble wrap was neatly taped around it. A layer of crinkled paper was added as a shock absorber. It was nice and tight.
Brandon, the proprietor even included 2 pieces of candy. I'll give these to my Son after school, during the unboxing.
The box arrived in mint condition! After receiving a dented GX-71 package from the BBTS, I'm glad I gave the Supreme Collector a chance.

So sad that all his stocks are sold I appreciate your bringing the Supreme Collector to my attention. I think I may have gotten the last one.

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad to hear you've had positive experienced with him. I figured I'd give him a try since I'll save $40 vs. the BBTS. I preordered the Megazord last week... and he sent it out Friday! BBTS doesn't even have it in stock yet. I'm pleased so far.

Is Bandai going to release more of these? I missed the first boat, and it seemed to be short lived anyway. So will there be another round to order and buy somewhere? Please let me know and where, and thanlk you. There's one on eBay for $399+$10 shipping now. That's the cheapest I've seen in some time.

Does anyone have experience with supremecollector.com? I would like to know about that too ^^ The Megazord is now shipping in the USA!
Quyle pointed out www.SupremeCollector.com in this thread as having the best price ($274.88). I don't know anybody who's done business with him before. So, I verified that he accepted PayPal on preorders for protection purposes. He shipped it from CA on Friday for free. I should have it by June 2. I always trusted the BBTS in the past. But my GX-70 showed up with a a big ding in the box. So, I shopped around. This should save me around $40 after shipping. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

You guys seen the death battle between these two? Definately. It was really cool! The Megazord was bigger than expected. And, it put up a good fight. But, I knew how it would end.

congrats man, the figure is really awesome best Great Mazinger figure ever made and im not a big fan of the hanger, its a huge dust magnet and its very hard to clean so i keep it in the box, i will never throw it tho LOL Thanks man , It is indeed a joy to handle. I did it like a family event where me , my wife and kids opened it and played around with it. My kids loved it and thought I am the perfect dad because I pick the best toys joking aside , the box should have been smaller by half , but the hangar in there but make it unassembled and who ever buy it can assemble it. and don't put the booklet in a separate huge box !!! I don't know where to store it! That's what it's all about. Unboxing gokins is the greatest joy my 8 year old son and I share. We count down the release. We anticipate them in the mail. The arrival is an event - it's an occasion. Every robot brings us closer. And, umboxing the DX Great Mazinger was incredible. My wife and 2 year old daughter were away. My Son and I made a weekend of it. I don't care how cumbersome the hangar is. My Son made a fort out of the massive BBTS shipping box. He actually fit inside it! We'll never forget it.

Has anyone had any experience with www.supremecollector.com?They have the Megazord available for preorder for $275 with free shipping. They have SOC God Mars, too. They accept PayPal & all major cards. I normally buy from the BBTS. But, including shipping I'd save around $40. I'm shopping around because my GX-71 arrived with a dinged up box. Any thoughts?

Don't forget to pick up one of the cheap $25 China Dairuggers on eBay. They are molded from the transforming small GB-72, and are actually worthy to have in a collection. Very well made, nice chrome, and a nice chrome sword for a cheap price. I have one, and it's actually pretty cool. I didn't realize it was molded after the GB-72.

Shipping from USA is much more expensive than shipping from japan. Store dont like to declare lower value because it will mean lower insurances value . If something goes wrong (lost) it will get complicated because the buyer would want full refund , but its only insured for the lower value amount due to buyer request. You will probably pay the same if not more buying from USA store due to higher price and higher shipping. Price will probably go higher now that the gx-72 is out and the comparison taking place along with new batch of SOC collectors ( people that go Gx-72 and now wants more) Thanks bro, i have a US shipping line that only take 10$/kg shipping fee, for Gx-71 i think it will cost about 40$. And i dont have to pay tax when using this line , now just need someone that sell it at good price ( about 380$ is good ) It does looks like the cheapest GX-71 in the States is $475 on eBay. Amazon's price increased to $540... up $50 in two days! I knew this release was going to be hot, but I'm a little surprised by escalation this rapid.
