Yeah, I have that set. The larger ships are still nothing more than ABS/PVC renditions. Nothing as intricate as Gaiking's accessories. All I can do is write about the Gaiking I have, and to me is fine. I definitely have not experienced the extreme floppiness you describe your Gaiking has... well, at least not yet.  }D |

I may skip this set for now. It is on pre-order but only 17CM, which is about 6inches tall for $180.

Looks good I just wish this was a SOC that transformed and wasn't a parts-former then you wouldn't get big holes in the side where the arms would be in combined mode.

Wow. The hands definitely look too big for this figure. Both open and closed versions.
Also it looks like the legs work backwards compared to the original chogokin. On the old toy you used to put the two lower legs back to back. On this one it looks like you clip the front side together.

I've not owned any bots from this series. Looking at the pics, will there be paint chips in the socket on the body where the arms are connected to? On other bots in this series, it will be hidden, but in Albegas we can clearly see the sockets on the side of the combine bot.

Looks great! There will not be paint chips on the sockets, as they are not painted. They are molded in that color. They may be unsightly, but I prefer that look any day over what Bandai did with Daltannios (Belarios legs when in combined mode). }D |

Plus 1 here. But it would be nicer if evoultion provided arm socket covers for the combined torso and hip parts too, don't you think?

Are you guys ordering one or 2 sets?Im so tempted to get 2,but preordered one instead.Anyhow is the 6 arm albegas possible with this?It is right?Id love to do a Kali like pose with all the weapons in each hand and the other 2 heads in 2 of the hands!

Only one as well. I don't see a reason to order two, unless you wanna display the single robots and the combined Albegas at the same time, but wouldn't be my personal preference. If you wanted to display all modes you would need SEVEN sets!!! ;D
