Based on the earlier releases, all MT RE:Master (mp equivalent) line products have some diecast on them.

Despotron looks stunning... Does he have any diecast on him? If his joints dont squeak, then i might tread 3rd party water again. It will have die cast. Mostly on the torso, belly area. If you go look at the promo solicitation picture that is on the TFSource order page, there is references on that picture that have the metal parts colored in purple as reference. Most pictures are listed on facebook and Twitter and I don't know how to link them to show up on these thread. But follow daimchoc on FB and you will get the latest update on anything Transformers. XTB Apollyon has die cast. Not sure if Dx9 Mightron has any. Most likely will have some. Edit: See if this works. So see the bottom right picture where highlighted in purple for the metal parts.

Thank you so much Yumcha.
Any bros getting this guy, please post a review especially about sqeaky joints.
Believe me, i do love some of the 3rd party sculps but its always the cheap sqeaks from joints that keeps me away..... Its my thing...im so used to Bandai And Sentinals luxurious butter joints.

With the 3rd-party market for TFs, it's a bit of caveat emptor. I've been dabbling in it for a couple years now -- started off with getting the FansProjects' Warbots after some old friends at TBDX (i.e. Inwards) could not stop yammering about it. I bought one and was in shock at the quality...When MakeToys showed up afterwards and was initially carried by places like Hobby Search, I bought up the initial wave of Giant (yellow) and was also impressed with the quality. So, right off the bat, I ran into two 3rd-party toy-makers I knew I could rely on. I've learned since that Mastermind Creations (via me going after their Feral Rex), FansToys (after going initially after Quakewave because again, old TBDX contacts "peer-pressured" me to get it), and BadCube are also quite reliable for some nice figures that stand up well to "toy snobbery". Nice detailing, good quality plastic, diecast (in some cases esp. with FansToys), and nice joints. There are still SOME hits and misses (like with all toymakers even big, bad Bandai, right?)...A good example is the Causality Motormaster made by FansProject that kinda gave the heebie-jeebies to transform. But, that's moi...some other people I chat with love it (then again, IMO, these types are the sorts who think everything they buy is amazing). Anyways...FYI. I would recommend any of the toy-makers I listed. MakeToys probably has the BEST designs (for me)...I love their "hulking" look.

I'm hoping I can score Pandinus wen A3U does their annual Boxing Day sale later this year. Knowing my luck, I'll miss out.

Yumcha, thats is VERY interesting, because Warbot is the one that put me off the 3rd party....
I guess the one i got was a big lemon? The knee ratchet joints turned to plastic dust after couple of poses. Then i bought those heels, but it hardly helped because of loosy goosy knees...
But i still do love that sculpt. Most 3rd party designers can outdesign Hasblow any given day i think.

So, I don't really play with the figures. I may transform them once or twice and then, pose it...that's it. As well, my entire collection is still in storage until our new place gets finished. And then, I'll finally be able to get that toy/man-cave in the basement I've been dreaming of since I got into this cray-cray hobby...So, I don't really "play" much with the figures. Um...1020 and counting.

Oh yeah!! I love it. I want more quality time with my toy too.
Its funny how i have the toy right in front of me but due to the damn time constraint i can only dream of fully playing with the toy. LOL

He was one of my first as well, I ended up selling him off because his transformation was no fun and his knees were total rubbish. Thank goodness things have come such a long way since those early days! Every so often there are still lemons but the quality of some 3P figures has easily reached high-end collectible levels, occasionally squeaky joints nonwithstanding.

That pale grey is pretty disappointing. Worse than that it's (in my opinion) pretty ugly.
Their "toy" version Tailgate looks a bit better as I think the silver helps prevent him from being too washed out in all-white, but having read and seen videos about these guys I don't know that they're worth their price when you consider the quality and value proposition of competitors' MP cars (like those from Badcube or Fanstoys)

ROFL.
