First picture of Takatomy Unite Warrior Groove! c/o Taghobby EDIT: More promotional pics which are (slightly) clearer: Still from Taghobby Looks pretty good either as arm or leg, if you disregard the gorilla proportion of the final Defensor configuration.

I don't think Devastator is going to scale with the other guys very well! lol But scale never is right. When you look at the mass of lets say 4 sports cars and a transport truck vs 4 fighter jets and a concord jet, I would think the jet team would be way larger then the car and truck team. lol

A big weekend for the line. Seems takara devastator will be the one to get for the line. I still won't be getting any but I am excited about the skylinx bot and Victoria. There are so many repainted, that I am less worried about combining g1 copies and just getting the best version of the molds I like to just make a few cool combiners. Hoping they keep this up the next couple years making new core bots and more combiners.

- yea the takara version of Devastator is the way to go with the actual G1 gun as extra weapons and the elbow articulation that was added for Scrapper and Long-haul plus improvements on the elbows for both hook and mixmaster. They even added extra paint application for them plus Takara added to there devastator the option to have the visor or regular eyes like what the Titan Metroplex has going. Unless Hasbro decides to make any changes to there retail devastator version (which i doubt it), i think a lot of people will skip that version and go for the Takara one. Heck, a lot of people are saying its even better than the SDCC exclusive version which i fully agree. So yea the Takara devastaor will be my first Japanese import toy Transformers to get, now the question is the price for it which remains to be mention.
- Im very happy to see bruticus been made, it seem that they haven't decided which color to go for the chest plate; do they give it green for a more accurate color onslaught or silver for Bruticus? i would say paint the back green (for onslaught while folded) and silver in the front (for Bruticus when fully open). I love the extensive retool of rook into Swindle, it looks fantastic, much better than i was expecting it that been a remold or Offroad/firstaid; plus i love the new mold of Brawl (i was surprise its a new mold and not a remold or rook into a tank). However i can't say the same thing for Vortex and BlastOff, I'm really disappointed that vortex is just a repaint or Alpha Bravo (it was to be expected) and blast off been a repaint of Slingshot/ Quickslinger(this one i really did not see it coming). wish they had worked a bit on both of them to differ from there previews molds, Hell i was expecting BlastOff to use the mold of Alpha Bravo since with a bit of retooling it would look nice as a space shuttle and they didn't do that (not even changing the head since thats Slingshot, firefly head would have been a better option TBH).
- Sky Linx looks incredible (very modern but still G1), never expected that he was gonna become a combiner torso though which is cool but at the same time its sad because he will not separate into his 2 components but instead is integrated. But still a great representation, in fact i could see Hasbro using this mold witha bit of retooling to make Hun-Gurr Love his team of limb components for him although some are just remolds of existing molds but the changes they made to them actually works for it (if i didn't know any better, Wheeljack in vehicle form looks very G1 very accurate, Hounds looks very nice all around as well the paint deco on the streetwise mold works great to make smokescreen. I like what they did to Trailbreaker, he may just be a remold of Offroad but i really like it that they gave him his gun arm like in the G1 cartoon, plus the head sculpt looks really nice.
-Optimus Maximus: still bad as ever since is just the mold of Menasor and Ultra Prime, sad to see they didn't try to improve the torso mode to make it better looking but instead made it worst(just a new head for OP and white color really?). The limbs are no surprises but some receive improvements, Ironhide is just a remold and recolor of Offroad with a new head not really impress. Sunstreaker looks good and breakdown's mold works well for him, love the headsculpt. Always said Mirrage would look great on Dragstrip mold, glad to see it was done so and it looks even better on him. Streetwise mold works good on Prowl, but i think it looks better on smokescreen tbh.
- On the legend figure, only 2 that stick out to me as the best is Shockwave (that is so G1 looking, I love it and his the best of the bunch) and Chop-shop (love the insecticons plus i like his look). Buzz-saw looks really good although its random to see him here. The mold of legends groove looks good on Wreck-gar but not like a wow factor. Skywatp is just a recolor of the legend starscream mold (which is no surprise considered that the original seekers are the same looking except for color) but ill get him to complete the legend seekers. Rodimus looks ok, but i prefer Blackjack more.
btw in yoututbe someone made a review of the Hasbro retail version of Devastator.

Is it just me or is the Takara devastator really cheap? at $215 seems like a real deal! I believe the other 3rd party devastator's were like $600???

And if you go with the Hasbro edition it is even cheaper. In the $149.99 USD neighbourhood.

I saw that. I was planning to only get the Takara version of Devastator, but after seeing this kit, I might buy the Hasbro version and this kit just to have Prowl-Devastator alongside Takara's version.

I would not be surprised if someone does not make a whole prowl not to go in place where the crane is. I think their should extensions would had been better if they raised the arms some.
