Saw this on FB. Can't believe there's not more excitement for this. I friggin LOVE my Diabattles toys. Such a cool design. How much have their other similar products been in terms of cost?

Yep I created the thread in Transformers section. Do I have to merge post (only one) here ? And every reboot of a line should be created in the same section as the vintage one, or in "modern section" ?

No clue. Just pointing it out to link them in case some people posted in one and others posted in another. I could see it being in either forum. Do what you want with it.

Love the fusion of curves and straight edges on this design.

It will be an exciting concept. The most important aspect will be magnets/diecast/material as well as the execution of the toy. TBD Ed

If there is the rare chance this is at NYCC I will pick it up.

The pilot minifigures remind me of the little Halo characters that my kids once had. Kind of cool design.
I just hope this doesn't top the $150 mark (which I am sure it will by a wide margin).

From the booth poster image, it looks like they would be planning to do the Great Base!

Yeah like Myles said about price I am nervous/anticipating as well.
I honestly don't care much for this one and never liked the original toy, which I own, but I am planning on buying this one so that if I end up going heavy on the line later I don't have to chase it down at aftermarket prices.
I honestly wish they went with a different figure for the first release but maybe they decided that this one would be best to test the waters with.
Hopefully this first release is about $100. I am definitely more geared up for what else might come from this line though.

I'm in on one of these too. Very cool to see a more modern version.
