It's a pass for me I think. Too skinny. I'll wait for reviews to come in. I just bought SRC Mazinger Z Iron Cutter, SRC Shin Mazinger Z-color, The Chromed-out Shin Mazinger Z and I'm going to purchase one that transforms into the rocket punch. I'm just not feeling it I guess. Plus I have 2 Soc Voltron on preorder, KOB Voltron, United Gohkin Getter Dragon and Getter 1. I know I'm forgetting some preorders but I'm just not feeling it.

Jet pilder design
stomach design
chest & breast fire plates design
what i dont like
the limbs are very skinny it doesn't fit the overall design
the body looks a bit like a cylinder
they didn't update the articulation which is a huge con for me personally
they could make it alot better but they didnt go the extra mile

I'm in! I like it! I love the headsculpt and I expected it him to be a bit more slim since they followed the line art. Defintely a better looking soc Mazinger in my opinion. Also we haven't seen the figures full range of articualtion at the legs since there's a possibility that the legs could get pulled down to allow more bend. If they really followed the drawing and tried to hide the articulation points then it will sacrifice a bit of articulation. If you expose the joints more it will affect the look of this compared to the drawings so there will be a trade off.

I don't think those are LED eyes. Rather a gimmick that changes the eye from black to yellow when pilder docks.

So they finally released this mold, after years of being stuck in the prototype stage I read somewhere that this is how GX-01 was supposed to look like, I think it was from one of the threads here... there was a pic from an expo where Bandai had this mold on display. UPDATE: Found the images   |

Thanks locidm I could be wrong about this prototype being the supposed GX-01, I just noticed the numbers at the end of the description plates.
