I love Mazinger and I love this new figure but I'm slightly bummed it only comes w the jet pilder and not the classic hover pilder. It must be intentional on Bandai's part. Maybe it will be released at a later date with another remake? Or accessories? In the original show (Mazinger Z vs. Ankoku Daishogun) there was no hover pilder like the anime.. only the jet pilder.  |

i have a question guys since the arms are smaller is it going to fit the rocket punch effect from the SRC Mazinger weapon set ? if it does i will LOL on all the bros who bough's the SRC iron cutter version  |

You know it would have been great if they can replace some armor to make it look like his battle damaged version like in the movie since his crotch armor is removable. I think they'd sell a lot more with this kind of gimmick.

I dont have the gx-01, was going to get the 40th but failed again. So does these mean this is the right timing to get these mazinger Z? Looks might fine to me though i had to get use seeing him in slim mode. Just dont know if its as big as gx-01 or gx-01r?

It looks beautiful. Just beautiful. Love the looks and proportions, this is the most anime-looking SoC Mazinger Z I've ever seen  the base is huge too! |

Head sculpt is good. Body is a nice shape. But those limbs, especially those overlong over skinny legs. I know they are right for the anime you all reference. But they make the robot look like a Mattel Machinder.

now you are cheating bro i said that many times not just for an SOC version but for the DX Mazinger as well imagine the DX with damage broken parts specially on the face that would be awesome add a damage Hover/Jet Pilder and you got the accessories of the year, but somehow Bandai isnt feeling it  they can make all plastic i wont care, just like Fewture did with Getter one Damage parts |

Shouldn't it be white? Just wait till Bandai do a recolor...lol Well, no.. the only white parts on Mazinger Z is the Scrander belt. Limbs have always been light gray in colour (like unpainted metal?). Anyway, I still can't believe how good. HOW GOOD it looks! You compare it to the GX-01, and it's almost like putting the Maz from the OVA next to the old GA-01.. it's amazing. Simple, elegant.. and it's even got metal forearms. I love it. |

i feel bad for grumbling about "another mazinger" a little while back. who knew they were working on such a beautiful mold!
