I wonder if the eyes really have that docking feature where it turns yellow? Also I pray the head isn't pvc as I don't like soft feel. That hangar is just too cool! It will probably cost a lot if they decide to make one to sell.

O.M.G you bros took the words out of my mouth, I couldn't express of how amazing this Mazinger's turn out to be.  It looks great i like everything about it, hope they can add the Hover Pilder to the set as a bonus for the first release. If Bandai's going to do the SOC D.C. Great Mazinger based on a VS movie then I Highly Recommend the movie UFO Robo Grendizer VS Great Mazinger.  And bader that video brought tears to my eyes  Thank you.  |

hope they can add the Hover Pilder to the set as a bonus for the first release. Don't you mean Jet Pilder? Hover Pilder is the original. Also, I'm fairly positive the hangar is a one-off custom, judging by the exposed contacts. |

It's been a while since I watched either the movie or the TV series, but I could swear the Hover Pilder got blowed up real good much later and the movie is the one where Mazinger gets it's Scrander for the first time.
Then again, the movie/series continuity in anime was as iffy then as it is now.

What's funny is how this new commercial for GX-70 has more people wanting the hanger shown in it as opposed to the SoC. Though the changes in engineering does make for what looks to be a much better toy and much needed improvement over the past mold.

As S_Gokin said the Hover Pilder got destroyed in the TV series and the Jet Pilder appease later on & in the movie Mazinger Z VS Ankuku Daishogun. As for the movie where Mazinger gets it's Scrander for the first time was Mazinger Z VS Devil Man. Also they need to add the battle damage armor parts to the set it will be a great add to it. That Hanger in the commercial played a huge role for making me tear & I strongly hope that Bandai have plans for this new Hanger Base in the near future. |

there is also an event later this month hope they display the real thing i gotta share that awesome clip with people in my Instagram they need to watch this, also to tease couple of bros (Grendizer fans) since their hopes were very high for a new SOC Grendizer  |

awesome find bader, this video feels me with so much nostalgia that when the pool started to open i said ''mazin go!!'' lol. man no matter how many other super robots anime are over the years, non can't compare to Mazinger Z appearing out of the pool, its such a presence. hell even in the SRWZ1 they made that clear making everyone look like rookies. i hope they release the water pool hangar, that would be very cool for a nice update from the original hangar set. btw don't know if anyone notice but the jet pilder has no hole under it to attach to a peg post, could it be possible is trough magnets? |
