FWIW, at 93,000JPY, if you think about it, over the course of the year, quite a few of us is putting that much down in total for all the releases that hit.
So, while the price for ONE item is a bit rare, if you think about the coin some of us put down for a vintage Godaikin/Popy and etc., this isn't that shocking. I'd get one if I were not paying for a new car.

I'll gladly pay 93.000,- if I could fine a retailer for that price AND if it came with the funnels, but they even made the funnels, a part of the standard design of the NU, P-Bandai and getting those is also going to cost twice the retail price.

HLJ sold out in minutes, no wonder because the limited it to 20 per customer, lets give the market to the scalpers right? HLJ is just about the money and don't care where the collectables goes to. The 20 per customer is incorrect , it was still limited to 1 per customer. It’s been like that since their new site , when a hot item gets the order stop , it sometimes shows a incorrect high number before slowing change back to the correct one. hlj.com/metal-structure-kaitaishoki-rx-93-nu-gundam-bans57540

Experience must be great, I guess!.... Trust me!
You became one of the elite class for Gundam Collectors. Metal Build? Meh, this is so yesterday! LOL.
At first, I tought Bandai was insane, when they offer this "Metal Sctruture" thing!
Now,... I'm not so sure anymore. Couple friend of mine decided to purchase this too.

Sorry for such a newbie question but can somebody inform me about the practical differences between a completed kit and an actual figure? I belive this is the former?

I wouldn't buy it, I have no place in my collection but I would love to handle it, I'm really curious and I'm pretty sure it will be great. But If I bought this I would have to sell all my gundam collection and start again in this scale.

My prediction:
When someone gets this thing, he tries to move the arms. They can't be lift. The guy thinks the joints are just tight. He applies a bit too much force, then the arms break. Photos show on social media. The price drops, like Metal Build Qan[t].

The people that will spend this amount on a figure is normally the ones that are very careful, most will probably just left it in the box. lol

This price point is aimed at those who get large statues and figures (like the Ultimetal Transformers). I don't think this is meant to be played with - more like pose and leave it alone. By the way, BBTS is sold out and they had more than 10 up for preorder.

All jokes aside. The promo pics do feature a lot of movable parts. But this figure clearly doesn't have the kind of articulation many of us are used to seeing in a Metal Build. I just don't know what articulation means in this one.
I could have considered it despite the price if it were indeed a bigger metal build. But this isn't. I did not get those formania busts. I am not getting this.
My unsolicited advice would be this: If you have gotten those formania busts before, how do you like to play with them? Because this is basically the same thing.

I have the Formania busts and I do like them. They really are just display pieces though. I also have Metal Builds, but even then, I tend to pose them and leave them be - maybe a change every couple of months. I'm more of a large statue collector; I like a lot of detail. Posing isn't the number one thing I'm looking for. It really depends what you're into. For those who want something more like a large Metal Build, I think this piece would be a disappointment.

I like toys more than statues but I’m ok with limited articulation. This does seem to have that. Barring yet a new line I don’t see anything that could top the detail on this thing.
I went ahead and PO’d from BBTS so no turning back now.
This has always been my favorite Gundam along with MSA0011 EX-S.
