I got mine yesterday and my number is 2775 of 15000. The number of the box and the number underneath the black lions chin is the same. I have no plan of taking it out of the box yet since I don't have anymore display space.

Hello all, I'm new to the forums here and have been waiting for MPC voltron for a long time. The lowest price I've been able to find is $137 USD. I saw some posts and some said that they were able to get it for about $120. I was wondering if anyone could help a fellow collector out and point me in the right direction to where I could get one of these voltrons for $120. Help would be greatly appreciated. And congrats on everyone on their purchase. This voltron looks great and I cant wait to get one!

Hey Gold, I reproduced your review (giving you the credit, of course) at he-man.org. If you don't agree with me doing this, I'll remove it, thanks.

hey guys i've been thinking bout this for a long time.
are DX/Deluxe gokins (example DX voltron mpc, DX aquarion) the same scale (or nearly in scale) with socs, aoshimas, and max gokins? the best comparison probably is to compare voltron's pilots with the lions, and then imagine koji in his pileder. but i've not watched voltron's anime yet. any ideas guys? is the voltron mpc in scale with socs?
and the old godaikins, are also termed DX, and their bigger gokins (godaikin voltes is bigger than soc voltes). does the term DX mean that the gokin is of a bigger scale (than socs)?
and finally DX aquarion, is it in scale with socs too?

None of the SOC's are to "scale" including Aquarion and especially Voltron which is made by a different company.
The DX just stands for deluxe or a larger more complicated toy. IMHO Voltron and Aquarion are too large to be inscale with SOC's. If they were made as SOC's they would probably have been made smaller. Voltron would "look" right at Zambot size while Aquarion should be about Dancouga size to get the right look in my opinion.
I say don't worry about "scale", if it looks cool then display them side by side and don't sweat the details because the upcoming Gunbuster is suppose to be 200 meters tall while Mazinger is "suppose" to be around 18-19 meters tall but I doubt Bandai will make Gunbuster 10 times larger than GX-01R, see what I mean.

Isn't Mazinger supposed to be 72 meters tall?

Mazinger Z is a tiny little robot compared to it's newer, younger cousin, remember he is the pioneer of SR's Tets, technically, but he is remote controlled... There was a pic of the SR for SRW on web that shoudl scale and Mazinger looked like a little kid, with Gideon and Gunbester topping the charts...

Mazinger Z's not remote controlled-- it's got the Hover Pilder. Self is confused.

He means Tetsujin28 ("Tets") is technically the first SR but he's remote controlled.

About Voltron i don't agree with the Toynami choice to not include all the lions' accessories... why this?

I think the hand lions (green and red) could be a little bigger... Voltron seems to have leg lions too bigger than his hand in proportion... i think so, even if i like it for posability, diecast, weight...

here's the thing.. if you increase the size of his arms... He'll end up looking like a gorrila Pretty much the size is contrained to the way Voltron looks in the anime. They did a really good job in doing a anime acurate voltron/golion.. That was their goal when producing this. Trying to make the arm lions bigger.. would deffinitely screw that up. Its a fine balance.

I think Toynami could do the hand lions a little bigger, not longer.... And the lack of accessories is very bad for me...
