thanks I'll remove it from the database.. and move it to the online store. do you the link of their new website. I just checked www.OuterLimitstoys.com and it doesn't seem to be it. i think this is one of the guys new site: www.gundamstoreandmore.com...but i could be wrong... man, i really miss Outer Limits- they always had awesome vintage diecast, and you could get a lot of hard to find Space Battleship Yamato stuff there, off the shelf, all the time, at reasonable prices.

Hong KongACTION TOYSBusiness Hours: 1:30 ~ 9:00 p.m. Address: Room 905, 9/F., Sino Centre, 582-592 Nathan Road, Kowloon Tel: (852) 23909843 CTMA CentreThis can be considered your one-stop toy shopping place in Hong Kong. Address: CTMA Centre, Sai Yeung Choi St. Mong Kok, Hong Kong. This shop is located on the basement floor of the CTMA Centre. I think it just opened a few months ago. The shop offers a wide range of vintage toys. Address: Shop B215, Basement Floor, CTMA Centre, Sai Yeung Choi St. Mong Kok, Hong Kong. This shop is also in the basement floor of the CTMA Centre. Address: Shop B207, Basement Floor, CTMA Centre, Sai Yeung Choi St. Mong Kok, Hong Kong. Toy Forest 2Address: Shop B109, Basement Floor, CTMA Centre, Sai Yeung Choi St. Mong Kok, Hong Kong. The following was added 8/21/'07:For RJ'ers planning on travelling to Hong Kong, an option to consider is to search and find the best prices for wanted items on Hong Kong Yahoo! Auctions, and then contact the seller for the possibility of meeting him or her to trade. Most online sellers, however, are only willing to meet and trade during the weekends or after workhours on weekdays. The seller usually specifies an MTR subway station to meet or a particular shopping center. (For example: Mongkok Station Exit B at 7 p.m.) Be punctual or call the seller promptly if you can't make it to the meeting on time. Take note that most toyshops have business hours after 2 p.m. on weekdays, but they usually open earlier during the summer holidays. Other shops open even later after 6 p.m. These are smaller shops whose proprietors are really toy collectors who've decided to sell toys as a side business. If you find yourself near CTMA Toys Mart, just across the street from this picture you'll find Animate. The shop is on the first floor (or second floor for Americans). The entrance to Animate is the one for the Grancastle Commercial Centre. There aren't many good deals at Animate, but this particular branch store has nice displays. The shopkeepers don't allow people to take photos, but here's a stolen shot of inside the store. Opposite CTMA across Nathan Road is UML Hobby. You probably won't find many good deals in this toyshop either, but you never know. From this area, about a five-minute walk on Nathan Road towards Yaumatei is In's Point. There are many smaller toyshops on the first and second floors. Look up Eddy's Toyshop on the second floor (which is really third floor) on the right side after the stepping off the escalator. The manager, Eddy, speaks English and is quite helpful with finding past SOC and Aoshima releases. Good luck and have fun toyhunting in Hong Kong.

I for one appreciate all the toy stores listings -- thanks. And please: if these stores have website site, please list them. (Do not foresee any trips to HK/Singapore/Japan anytime soon....)

Haha! Sir, this is the same basic thread as the "Where do you buy this stuff?" thread two lines below. Should just combine them into one info thread?

hmmmm ... not really ... the other thread is about on line stores while this one is more of (walk in and grab while you are at the store) so ... it is different

I like this idea. Someday I might feel like traveling somewhere and the first place I'd wanna PHYSICALLY visit is the local toystore in the area; so this thread is very helpful.
The other thread Repairtechjohn is refering to is a listing of stores online...
Shopping online is cool for stuff that isn't locally available. But, shopping online Doesn't compare to the real feel of physically shopping at the store In Person where you get to actually see and hold the item before you buy it... ...which can lead to Toypsychosis.
Toypsychosis occurs when an RJer goes into the store and handles a toy before buying it, and goes into a happy fit. Symptoms include excessive drooling, daydreaming about the toys, covetousness, catatonic astonishment over the boxart colors on the shelves, and impulsive buying to a point in which the item is immediately put on Layaway when the wallet is partially empty. ;D

I forgot the other one is mostly online stores, but there are quite a few physical store listings in there too, so someday have to compare, and move over those addresses in a post. I'm guilty myself of putting some over there. I LOVE this thread. Like magengar said, 4 pages of places to check out if I travel. And still growing!!

Places that sell them will not blow you away, most that sells them, only carries a handful, so dont expect to find them in rows and rows of shelves that run from the floor to the ceiling ;D CSC might be your best bet, but like you said, they sell mainly the new stuff. Another place i might look up is "Robo Robo" at excelsior shopping centre and "The Falcon's Hanger (TFH)" at waterloo street. The former carries a mix (but not a lot) of chogokin and TF vintages while TFH is better off with vintage TF, tho they carry other vintage line, most of them are stashed in their Japan office i suspect. anyway, happy hunting
