Oh yeah of course its meant to be INTERNATIONAL!

I'm slow at updating.. but I'm trying to update as soon as I get info from members. I only know of places in my smal small part of the world.

It's meant as a travelers guide to find cool shops or even finding gems in your neighborhood.

I always hear people visiting places and wanting to know cool shops. So I think having the info in one easy to find place.. maybe good for everyone. Plus maybe to plan your trip around (geeky i know... but who cares!)

L'Imaginaire

A "geek-boutique" in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada. A lot of european and american collectibles, but also a considerable amount of japanese ones, including robots. Their prices are often not the best, but there is the occasionnal deal.

Their site is both in English and French, but the English version seems to be buggy in some places. My advice would be to browse the French version and switch to English when you need a translation of a description. But since most items don't have a description, you probably won't need the English version anyway.
