Hi!
Is anyone planning on attending the anime expo in July 08'? Or if you are planning to be an artist promoting there?
I'm actually to share a table/booth with someone as all the available tables have sold out.

Spain? I had problems with buyers in Spain as well. Also, France. Mostly, any buyer who is in France, Spain, or Italy. I don't know why... its just trouble.

U5 Great! Must have! I looked for one in Tokyo, but couldn't locate one. Only found a Gaiking at an astronomical price.

i don't think jumbos have great re-sale unless their in pristine condition and boxed. i think for investment purposes, its best to go with die-cast. you can't beat the detail!

Why those figures are so expensive? Good question. I would think it has something to do with the print run. Unfortunately, I've looked on ebay and it doesn't seem to have a good re-sale price. But I think that's largely because there isn't a huge collector base in the US as compared to Gokin?

I've been selling/buying chogokin for the past year. After going to the Tokyo Toy Festival in March 07', I saw these unusual vinyl toys and others in local shops in Akihabara. I have no clue when it comes to collecting, and pricing seems sporadic. But certain ones, seem to make great art pieces for display. Anyone have any suggestions on where to start? Websites that have some information on this hobby? I found some interesting ones at: www.marmit.co.jp/marmit_ivtbck.htmI had the chance to purchase these, but was hesitant because I didn't know anything about the hobby. Now I think I should of purchased them.

is this 100% die-cast? all items still in the orig. containers, bags, sprues?
any pictures of the contents? was the ship also ever turned-on? mounted? played with?
