I think I read somewhere that it'll have a rocket punch gimmick.

Looks like I'll have to buy about 10$ or 20$ worth of lottery scratch-off tickets to score me this awesome Maz jumbo! ;D DROOOOOOOOOOOOL!

New Pictures: I wonder if the hangar where the jumbo mazinger is displayed is a paper model, and if it is, whether it will come with the jumbo. I'd so fall for a jumbo mazinger with a paper hangar. Ya it'll take days or even weeks for me to build a paper model that size but the thought of having one on display is too much to resist. source: www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-109933-6-1.html

O M F G !!!!!! Look at him in these new pics!!!! Does it come with that hangar diorama??? Does it? Does it? I'm gonna Co-LLapse!!!! <der-rOOOOOOOOOL, Sali-lali-vating!> To build a hangar like That one could use some thick 3" slabs of roofing styrofoam (the styrofoam with the dark brown paper sheet covering it), a few straws to make the scaffolds, and a couple of aluminum light-weight BMX brake arms to make the construction grapplers there... AWESOME!!!!! zozo-Magengar

Don't know how to approach this one. I guess I'll buy it. Maybe in Japan next April at Yodobashi when it's like f**king 1/2 price!! Truth be told, it's not polyethylene, it's not funky. No nostalgia for me. My 2 cents. It's just a scaled down/up model of ALL the other new Shin Maz figures that are out there. Although, I'm totally interested in seeing how the rocket punch works. Matt was working with one of the Bandai Tamashi Nation dudes the other day in Tokyo and he showed him what was up with the rocket punch. I'll skype him tonight and report back.

Inframan, just saw you were in Philly. Dude, we're hosting a happy hour at the Morphy auction on Friday 11/13. Come by if you can. What's your name? "In association with ToyboxDX.com, Morphy’s will host a reception for the visiting robot community on Friday evening, Nov. 13, at The Black Horse tavern and hotel in Adamstown. As an added attraction to their impromptu robot summit, many collectors will be paying a call to The Toy Robot Museum, which is less than a five-minute drive from Morphy’s gallery."
