There's something strange with Rex at Bambaland Store. When a pre-order is closed, the toy listing is usually transferred to the "SOLD OUT TOYS" section of the website, but Rex isn't there. The items are eventually removed after a while, but Rex wasn't even moved there at all.
Are they planning a second pre-order period, or did they just forget (or just didn't bother) to move it?

Oh no, I did not forget about them. I preordered Snake a long time ago and Grey Fox is on its way from AmiAmi as we speak.

Prices on ThreeA figures seem to be similar to Bambaland most of the time and they often offer free shipping to the US. That would make it a great second-chance option for Americans, but I wonder how much they'll charge to ship it to Canada or, *gulp*, Europe.

Only $15 more than Bambaland, but I shiver at the thought of the shipping bill. Unless they drop-ship it directly from ThreeA, it could mean an extra $100.

It's also worth noting - the retailer versions of Rex will not come with a pilot - according to Ashley Wood the 1/48 mini snake will only be included with the Bambaland direct purchased version.

I'm talking alone... hearing voices... and the voices, which sound suspiciously like Gimbat from 3A, are saying :
"First batch of retail orders starting to ship next week! I'll have precise dispatch day and locations of retailers (whether it's Asia , Europe or US) on Monday."
It's cooooooomiiiiiiing !
Still at least two months to wait until I get mine, but it's still nice to hear they're starting to ship them, even if it's just to retailers.

It's still on pre-order at Toy-Wave for $422 (plus shipping). $422 plus shipping is the reason I didn't per-order this monster in the first place ... but thanks for the reminder!
