The Japanese name pretty much says 'Yamato MTC Color Assorted Set'. Hope you find the paint set somehow.

Hey guys! I bought 1/3000 SDF-1 Macross Assembly kit by Yamato. Well, to make a long story a bit shorter, to assemble this kit it is held together by micro screws, and from the parts list there are several sizes of these screws. I have gone through the several bags of tiny screws that were enclosed and it was pretty much like seperating pepper from fly sh*t. lol When I was finished I was short several screws,(pardon the pun) I guess this is a common issue with this kit. So here is my question to you guys. Do any of you guys know where I can find these micro screws online or stores ect? The sizes I need are M1.8x6mm for 34 screws, M2.0x6mm for 83 screws, (I beleive these are what is called a "Phillips Pan Head") and finally Phillips Flat Head M2.0x5mm for 2 screws.
Any help would be appreciated. I have this kit all laid out and ready to go.

Since it is unclear if/when I will ever get my SDF-1, the seller offered to and has refunded my my money. Now I'm not quite sure what to do. Do I wait to see if it ever shows up(which could be weeks or months)?? Or do I just get one from Mandrake??

Sent an email off to these guys, they don't carry that size screw. They did suggest microfasteners.com. I've sent them 2 emails and have not heard anything as of yet.

Hey guys! Just to let you know I managed to find a supplier of the different size screws needed to build this kit. I had to get the 1.8x6mm screws sent from Australia!( mcjing.com.au/categorybrowse...ookieSupport=1) The rest of the 2.06x6mm and the flat head 2.0x5mm screws from an American site. (http://www.laptopscrews.com/FAQ.htm). I live in Canada and I ordered from both stores on the same day and both said they had shipped the same day. It is funny how the postal service works! The package all the way from Australia arrived yesterday, while the tracking number of the other shows it still in Florida. LOL Anyhoo, I have begun the building of this AWESOME kit. If you take your time and really study the instructions you should have no problems. While trying to find screws/waiting for them to arrive, I must have built this thing a dozen times in my head just looking at the instruction manual. Here is a question for you guys, If I decided I wanted to change things up with the Macross SDF-1 and make it more like the TV series version instead of the Do You Remember Love version what size and where would I find ships to replace the ARMD space platforms? The Daedalus and Prometheus.

The build still continues! Had a WTF mommnet though x2! I'm working on the frame of the main body which is mostly metal with some plastic parts hung on to it with screws. While attatching one of these parts I accidently twisted the head of the screw right off! Panick began to set in! I flipped the part over and noticed that the hole for the screw passed all the way through so was able to drill it out with the smallest drill bit I had. Replaced the screw with a scrap one I had from some old Transformers and went about working on the other side and made very sure not to do the same thing again. The head of the screw on the opposite side did the same thing, but had enough of it in place to hold the part. Got lucky there!

In that second pic above the manuals, that is one of the center parts. It came with 2 manuals, one for assembly and the other for transformation and gimmick references.
