Wait, is this TakaraTomy? Or just another 3rd Party attempt?
Proportion looks good on some parts, but off on others. Either the head is too big, or it has a very short torso. Feet is very skinny, making the toy look a bit feminine (similar vibe with MP Shockwave, but worked for Shockwave's mono-eye look, not so much with Megatron's manly face). Not so bad as a regular robot design, but this proportion doesn't fit Megatron's personality very well. MT's Despotron is a bit on the wide side, but it captures the robust, fierce, menacing look very well.

It's unconfirmed at this time. Daimchoc from Facebook posted and said take it with a grain of salt. Indicating that it may not be Hasbro/Takara MP. Vangelus on tweeter said that it's rumored to be from Bandai. So, it's up for speculation at this point.

More and more pics keep showing up of the Takara version. It is chocked full of gimmicks. It is already making me a little torn.

I like it. It's official and shows TakaraTomy notices how the market is being stolen from them. Every iteration of Megs by the other companies is just another interpretation...So, viva la competition!

Other than the Gun mode, I think the 3P products have an edge compared to the official. Even Apollyon is better looking, regardless of his build quality...

I didn't buy the maketoy version yesterday because I think as this release comes the prices of the 3rd party figures will come down.
