I am just glad that a high end figure is being made. Big size is sure welcomed, but we all know that Sentinel is not going to give us that. They like everything a size or two smaller than what you would expect LOL. While a big transforming gokin is the ideal, I'll take what I can get, and that sculpt is very nice. Just handled the Amakuni GGGG last night. So a King J-Der in that level of execution, I am totally in.

Looks very nifty. But, I will likely admire from afar. Yup I haven't been able to afford a new gokin in almost a year so I'm pretty sure this will be way outta my price range. But nonetheless this looks awesome, I'm sure it won't be in-scale with the just released GGGG which would be ridiculous but it would be nice if this came with an in-scale mini-figure of GGG. |

King J-Der also has a look all engulfed in orange flame in Hakaioh (but don't know the context yet) While they can get very creative if they want to, I just hope there is no DLC and just included as part of the figure. I would rather pay more in one go, than having most of that money go to DHL shipping a second order/box. |

Been waiting for this one. But...unlike Genesic Gaogaigar, I do need a transforming version of this mech and these prototype pictures do not - as of yet - scream must-have (for the price and the fact that it’s non-transforming that is).
Also have to wonder how much a non-transforming King J-Der can offer really; I mean GGGG has the bird gao, 2 pairs of alternate hands, the shooting fist and the protect shade gimmick. And I can see Bandai or Pose+ announcing theirs, sooner rather than later.
That said, I am happy with the size; not too big. Need to wait and see color pics and the gimmicks before I can say with full confidence that I am ready to drop (what is likely gonna be) 450+ euros on this.

But God knows how long that we'll have to wait until that happens. Even if POSE+ or SOC tackles it, they already have Choryujin and GFG, GGGG taking priorities. I don't even know if I am still around, by the time they decide to make a transforming gokin of it. Still baffles me why no major toy companies willing to tackle this mech, when it is such an important and badass cast in the show. Aside from the Takara DX, there was zero transforming toys made for King J-Der for almost 2 decades, until the SMP model kit from a couple years ago. It wasn't even a hard transformation, as long as you resort to optional part swap (a smaller head for screen accuracy), like many SOC already did. *shrugs* |

Hmmm...upon closer look on the King J-Der grey prototype. Guys, we might be in for a big surprise. Take a closer look!  - Hole in center chest (bird beak) - Rotating front shoulder plate (left and right at different angle) - Articulated J-Der feet on the arms. - Mid torso vertical swivel (curves and gaps on both sides) - Tabs on the back side of shoulders. - Male/female tabs on both sides of the under side of lower arm. - Male/female tabs on both sides of the inner lower legs. If you are familiar with the show, especially if you own the Takara transforming toy, you know what all these hint. This is game changing...  |
