If you have not fixed the leg yet on your MF GGGG. Please look at the Brave Gokin Fragility thread. I posted instructions to repair without losing movement.

Thanks, that's pretty much what I did. It just annoys the hell out of me that I paid $200+ for figure that will literally break in your hands! And I love the look and feel of the MF GGGG too, but after this and the shoulder covers on Mazinkaiser broke off I'm pretty much done with Maxfactory.

There is a lot of diecast in the MF GGGG. But on closer inspection, its really cheap quality, very brittle. Its like those KO matchbox cars, where the metal disintegrates in your hands.
Cheers.

I'm expecting my CMS GGGG in a few days. Are there things that I should look out for before I start fiddling and combining him?
Just for note, although the HLJ CMS GGGG page specified EMS shipping only, you can request for SAL shipping during your check out, and in fact that's what I did.

I'm expecting my CMS GGGG in a few days. Are there things that I should look out for before I start fiddling and combining him? Just mainly this: Use a screw driver, plug it into the hole in Gaigar's knee to gently eject out the Gaigar leg when disconnecting GGGG, as oppossed to just randomly pulling the legs till they give. This screw trick doesn't work for GGG and GFG though, the screw hole is in too deep into the Drill Gaos, I just use my thumb to push out Gaigar's legs through the hole under GGG's feet. Apart from that, also watch out for the fins on the shoulders, they tend to get in the way. It's also sometimes better to not connect the chrome-plated "armpits" on GGGG, this will make the connection between the shoulders lock better but might make the shoulders "droop" a bit. Gold

Thanks a bunch for the heads-up, Gold. I'll be sure to watch out for that.
As for the version 2.0, are there significant difference in poseability compared to the first version?

Not really, it's pretty much the same in terms of poseability. Gold
