Hey guys, let us know how well the articulation is. Where they are calling it the "final version" I want to know what is different compared to the first version? If the only difference is the pointing finger it would seem a little extreme to call it anything other than a re-release.

Kind of concerned since I still haven't even been billed for mine... especially since some emergency car repairs are creating extra costs for me this month.. I emailed HLJ about it last night, hope they get back to me soon. Anyone who bought this guy in the US.... about how much did it cost total?

I emailed HLJ about it last night, hope they get back to me soon. Anyone who bought this guy in the US.... about how much did it cost total? $224 total shipped but I think that's with the early bird discount. I wouldn't worry about them NOT billing you yet. I have been waiting for a billing for Groizer X too and it's been in "low stock" for a week now. If they were on top of things, I should have gotten the EMS shipment by now. I think they are trying to catch up on orders because they were closed for 2 weeks. The owner is also waaaaay behind on emails per his recent message

Thanks for the info, zman! I just might be able to pull it off.... it mostly depends on how much my paycheck is for tommorow, and whether or not my parents help me with my exhaust manifold.

On glove on the Mazinkaiser. I'm not sure with Godannar. I have it but can't remember when I opened the box.
I will install this piece today when I have time. And also will update my collection page.

With the white gloves you have to remember that at the time MAX put GGGG out, which was around 2003-4, it was the first really high end figure costing $200+. This seems fairly common place today with companies like Fewture, and now even SOCs, but at that time it was like a new market and I think MAX was trying to make a statement with the gloves that GGGG wasn't just your average kids toy with it's superior detailed sculpt, high diecast content, and above average paint. GGGG was a first of its kind and still a classic IMO.

Man... What a huge dissapointment! I just received my Max Factory GGGG and it is very small!!! I was hoping it was at least the size of the Kotobukiya GaoFighGar and GaoGaiGar, so I could display all three of them together, but it is NOT! If I was not a serious collector, this guy would be for sale right now. Damn, waiting all this time and building my hopes just to be let down like this... I hate you Max Factory!!!! CM's wins on the "Display Together" category. }x

If the only difference is the pointing finger it would seem a little extreme to call it anything other than a re-release. I just realized that I won’t be a good judge for this figure since I don’t have the previous releases to compare with (well I did but sold it). I did notice that on the manual, you can see a lot of “warnings” or what looks like “warnings”. I am providing scans so maybe somebody who has the previous ones can pick up the differences.

Yeap, that's the GaoFighGar you sent me! ;D And it does suck that the GGGG is so small, regarless of which company made it. Look at the Aoshima's and Bandai 's SOC Getters for example... they are in perfect harmony! Why couldn't the buttholes from Max Factory do the same thing!!! Sorry, I am really pissed... }D

A few pictures from my set. As usual, Max Factory made an amazing job on the piece. I did not find any flaw on it. Picture of the box Back of the box The Masterpiece itself You can display every item on the base Close up on the face
