I have four HFTD figures so far. Battle Blade Bumblebee, Legends Ravage, Deluxe Ironhide, and Jetblade.
BB Bee is awesome. Highly recommended. Legends Ravage is a good addition if you have ROTF Soundwave.
But for Ironhide... he is so small compared to Bumblebee, and his droid is not impressive as his left arm cannon. But the vehicle mode is good.
As for Jetblade... I really love his jet mode. I like how it looks and I like the color scheme. But the robot mode is not that good. Who designed him and give him that cone arm?!
I plan to get Voyager-class Battle Blades Optimus Prime. And Even though Leader-class Starscream is cheaper than the Masterpiece version, I'll get the MP one because I like the more realistic paint compared to the tattoos that killed the whole "Robot In Disguise" thing.

So it seems Prime is going to be a 5-parters mini-series. Do you think they'll make it a full series? It seemed to be that way with G1 and Animated. They've started with a 3-parter episode, and it turned into a full length series. And after watching this episode, I really wish they'd expand on it.
Episode 3. AWESOME!!

I guess I'll go with either Ultra Magnus Perfect set ala MP04, or Galvatron. A Masterpiece Unicron would be awesome as well.
Or what about Shockwave? Isn't he the leader on Cybertron?

It's like the Prime I've been looking for! A bit taller than my ROTF Voyager Megatron, but it'd work. All what's left now is a trailer, and it'll be completed.

I just watched the first two episodes, and I'm quite impressed with it!! It felt like a revised version of the Bay movies. Frank Welker's Megatron was different than the usual. Not like the DS games or the original cartoon.
Bumblebee is mute again! Seriously... what's wrong with giving him a voice?! It worked in Animated and WFC. Is it because his design was based on the movie version?!
When Megatron mentioned Unicron's name, I was like "No... way...!!! We will have Unicron?!!"
Prime still rules. *Thumbs Up*. Liked Arcee since she's not a stereotypical useless pink fembot.
Not sure about the humans, but they're OK so far. Almost Spike Witwicky level, but not as annoying as Sari or useless as Sam.
One last thing, is it just me, or does everyone sports thick eyebrows? Looks like Animated chins are outdated =).

So it seems toy companies aren't as strict as anime companies when it comes to bootlegging. But then again, you can't get a toy with a press of a button and a download software.

Question: How does this site avoid getting sued by Takara/Hasbro?! They sell bootlegs and knockoffs. How do they keep their site open like this?!

Along with robot pilots, I want a revoltech Spiderman. They made Batman once. When will they make my favorite American super hero? I want one so hard to replace my old Spiderman 2 figure. And while they're at it, they should make Doc Ock. Can you imagine the amount of revoltech joints they'd do for his mechanical arms?

Great reivew I hope you continue to do these as your collection expands. I havent done a review in a long time really need to get back into the swing of things. My collection so far is very Transformers-centric. But I'll get more anime-based figures in the future. And if things gone will, I'll probably review RD Eva Unit 03 once it's released next month.

I know the change was in Animated, but according to the Wikipedia, Slag is considered a sexual slang in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand. Since it's a sexual slang, and Hasbro feared the negative feedback they'd get for selling a children's toy named after that, they had to change it.
So far, the name change was done once. But what are the chances of it being permanent?

((Sorry If I'm making a lot of threads recently, but things keeps getting in my head and I want to know your opinions about))
So, as we all know, Slag, the Triceratops Dinobot got his name changed from Slag to Snarl due to it now being a bad word. And Snarl happened to be the name of the Stegosaurus Dinobot from the same team.
Now, let's suppose that there's going to be a Masterpiece Slag in the future. Are they going to name it Snarl? Or use the original offensive name?
And if they are going to use Snarl, what will they do to the original Snarl?!

Now this is a Wheeljack I'd love to have. I'm happy that they've decided to make a new modern look for him based on his original, since I was worried that the Einstein-faced from the movie was going to be the one and only easily obtainable Wheeljack for a long time.

My first review here. Hope you'll like it. So, this'll be my review for The Robot Spirits - Robot Damashii Evangelion Unit 00 Kai figure from the movie Rebuild Of Evangelion 2.22 You Can (Not) Advance. As you know, this is a limited release from the Robot Damashii line. If don't have it, best luck finding it. I purchased it last month from eBay and payed nearly $100 for it. Sure it was pricey, but I couldn't afford wasting the chance of getting it before it gets nearly impossible to find one. So, here you have the back of the box showing a pose and the accessories included. At the front you can see this sticker that indicates that this is an official product licensed by Gainax. Now, let's check out the figure itself. Before I got this figure, I had Gundam Unicorn-Unicorn Mode that I got as a gift from the shop owner at Kuwait. Back then, I wasn't familiar with the Robot Damashii line. But I was impressed with the figure and articulation it had. And with that, I became a fan of this line and even more when they've announced the release of the Eva figures, and I was not disappointed when I got this one. Here are some samples of poses that you can get with it. I could've done some flying poses as well, but I don't have stands. Let's move now to what's included with the figure. Let's start with the hands. along with the default hands, we get: With what you choose, you can pull some wacky poses like these: Other accessories includes the famous umbilical cable that no Eva figure comes without one. The cable is a metal wire coated with rubber. You also get swappable bandaged arms and right leg to mimic the injuries the unit got in the movie. Now it comes to the weapons. We got only 2, but they are huge. The first one is a Gatling gun which obviously the one used by Eva Unit 01 in the first movie. This weapon is awesome for two things. the first is you can rotate the barrel, and the second is the removable magazine that you can remove and attach with ease. Now as pointed out earlier, this weapon belongs to Unit 01, but it's okay since Unit 01 comes with two rifles and two knives. So, you give two weapons for one. And finally, the weapon that sold this figure over the Revoltech one, the giant N2 missile. The missile is made of hard plastic, and it's hollow from the inside. And it the front, there a small gap that allows to inset fingers to hold it tight. But despite that, it's still a bit tricky to make the figure carry it and pose at the same time. Something else I want to mention and I did once before. The eyes of the figure are made of clear plastic. Based on the lighting, you can get a pretty reflection on them. Something you'd never get with other figures that uses cheap paint. Final thoughts: For a long time, Revoltech used to stand out as one of the best small-scaled mecha figures and Robot Damashii had no love. But with the release of the second movie Evas, things got messy with the fandom and they've started paying attention the Robot Damashii. And this figure is a solid proof of the difference in quality between them. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. If you're a fan of Evangelion and you want to have good figures? go with the Robot Damashii releases. It's worth it. Rating: 9.5 \ 10

Out of curiosity, what are the Transformers figures that you can get a good challenge from while transforming them?
I know for certain that the owners of ROFT Leader-Class Optimus Prime are making a challenge of transforming him without activating his voice gimmick ((I'm Optimus Prime)) over and over again.
---
I have ROTF Deluxe-Class Lockdown, and the challenge I have with him is transforming his shoulders without popping his arms off. I still haven't achieved that.
Any others that comes to mind or worth mentioning?

Wow!! Is that a chrome shirt?! I wonder how much it costs!
And the rocket punch gimmick... as silly as it sounds, I think it's like the best response Miku can gives to any vocaloid hater. XD

I just wonder which Godzilla will they go with... unless they plan to make them all...?!
My favorite Showa-era Godzilla design is from "Mothra VS Godzilla". Totally love that design.
