I wouldn't really pay more than $100 for one. It already got reissued once. $150 would probably be pushing it. Remember to check selling prices at mandarake and yahoo japan for a closer look at what they "really" sell for. If you have to pass on this for now don't get bummed, this one is ALWAYS available. Given I live in Italy, prices get a bit "inflated" due to shipping... and taxes... On Mandarake there's a used one, with "damaged box", at 12K yen. And Yahoo Japan lists some GX-23 at 18K-19K, just one at 15K. So we're already over 150$ aren't we? Plus shipping, this thing could reach 200$. That's around 150 euros, and that was the price that I thought I might get for the one in the store. I'm being optimistic here. I really wish to spend not much more than that. We'll see... The damaged box is probably a perfect toy with just a damaged box. So that's $120 US right now before shipping. I'd guess shipping to me would be $40 minimum. I'm on the east coast of the U.S. I've had Zambots offered to me often, usually at $130-150 but I'm just not a big SOC collector. The $100 I mentioned is what I would spend on it personally, just my opinion. Check out some reviews from Gold, chachipower/rocketpuncharmy, and CollectionDX for a better idea on the figure and any issues before you buy it. It is a great looking toy. There should be a thread here about Zambot too.

Awesome game. I used to have that and I'm selling my copy (US Sega Genesis). It is a hard game and definitely takes some getting used to.

I like how they colored the weapons so we don't get confused lol, from what i see the green and the red lions got 2 weapons the blue and the yellow lions got 3 weapons and the black lion got 4 how ever i don't think this is the complete weapons because the normal blazing sword isn't there also the huge star that Golion shots, sadly the weapons isn't chrom & that gray isn't right in my opinion maybe the lights i don't know I like that they color coded the weapons. That's a really nice little detail. I actually like them in silver. Believe me I am a fan of chrome but on some parts that get handled a lot like these, you don't always want it. Looks like the silver matches the paint on the legs which is nice as well.

I have to agree, things did kind of slow down. I guess we all got used the 2 SRC releases a month schedule that the sudden drop felt like a big change. I'm bracing myself for December-January, for when Voltes and GGG hit. That's going to literally kill my wallet. On a side topic, is the Unlimetal Optimus Prime still coming out? Gold I think it came out. I believe people on tfw2005 or one of the other transformer forums posted u boxing pictures. It is huge, almost twice the height of the original MP-1. It ships in three separate boxes and comes with a huge stand arm that you need to screw into the back of the figure to make sure it does not fall over.

Hmm... not sure what to make of this. It's great that we're getting a new Laserion but Evolution Toys hasn't really impressed me. Anyone know if their Daikengo is good? Gold Baron has it. He talked about it in the ET thread.

Also apparently it has been in effect in the UK for a while now and it doesn't apply to every item.
One area in particular it doesn't apply to is custom items (I am guessing handmade, one of a kind, etc.) so you guys doing kitbashes and sculpted parts etc. should be okay.

A warning:
I don't know if any of you got the email but PayPal is now moving to 180 day windows to file disputes. It's blowing up on forums from ebay community to TFW2005 etc. Goes into effect November 18th.
I will be trying to frantically list all my remaining vintage non-robot toys if I have the time and then get the hell out of dodge. Then I will open my own online store. No way am I giving toy scalpers and scammers free loans on my money and losing $1000 items. I'm not sorry.
This will be a swindler's paradise. I've seen the horror stories that people in the transformer community have lost AFA 1 of 1 figures, rare sealed items, etc. and their money. No way could I take a financial hit like that.
It also says that if you do business internationally that you are bound by the laws of the country your winning buyer is in!
The return shipping is on the seller, and no refund of PayPal feed either, no exceptions on both, and I bet they will say that you're out final value fees as well.
Also, this is not only on eBay but on ALL platforms that accept PayPal...it is PayPal wide...we need to find a new payment method or I'm taking the LLC I registered and looking into a merchant credit card account which I am sure I cannot afford...
I'm waiting to see what else comes of this...

If you mean the robot spirits figures of nobita and doraemon, those have no Diecast. They are all plastic. If you have a question about a different Doraemon, let me know. If you mean the doraemon reissue, it's heavy for what it is. The modern gacha gacha doraemon is very heavy. Mr. Ginrai - Is the gacha gacha Doraemon the one by Bandai produced in 2006 or thereabouts? If I was to buy a Doraemon/Nobita set that's comparable to the die-cast Hello Kitty which would it be? Currently there is no diecast nobita figure that I know of. For diecast doraemon, there are the following: 2005/6 release of gacha gacha doraemon renewal version: this is a large figue with an anime realistic style and lots of accessories. Very heavy. Larger than the 1979 reissue. 2006 release of gacha gacha doraemon 1979 reissue: exactly what it says, reissue of the original 1979 chogokin toy. 2006 re-release of the gacha gacha doraemon renewal version aka movie version aka Nobita's dinosaur version: re-release of the gacha gacha renewal doraemon of 2005/6, except it comes with even more accessories that are from/based on the doraemon: Nobita's dinosaur adventure movie. If you want to match the hello kitty based on style and design aesthetic, buy the 1979 reissue even though the 1979 reissue will be a little smaller. The renewal version doraemon is much much bigger and heavier but looks like a modern anime sculpt in real life. You could argue that the hello kitty (really hello kitty anything) is anime accurate and display those together, however I think that the hello kitty might still look more like a toy compared to the renewal version. Check out old pics at HLJ or HobbySearch to get a better idea. Chachipower owns my renewal version so check out the chachipower and rocketpuncharmy channels on YouTube as well, I believe he did a review there. I have the 1979 reissue. Had the first renewal doraemon and sold it. Not vintage enough for me but a great piece. Don't have the hello kitty yet.

Perhaps I had unrealistic expectations but I was mildly disappointed that the Doraemon figure is much lighter in weight than the Hello Kitty piece. I'm assuming the Nobita figure has little to no die-cast as well. If you mean the robot spirits figures of nobita and doraemon, those have no Diecast. They are all plastic. If you have a question about a different Doraemon, let me know. If you mean the doraemon reissue, it's heavy for what it is. The modern gacha gacha doraemon is very heavy.

I just got the 1979 Doraemon reissue and have it posed next to Hello Kitty. They look so good next to each other. I want Panda Z and the newer Doraemon, but not at the crazy ebay prices. $40-50 is very fair for these items. I'm PMing you some info.

I think SOC ideon or something like that is the first fully transforming toy version, so for a toy combiner he is too recent. The old super DX ideon combined but only did vehicle mode and no alt modes if I remember correctly.

Tnx guys. You also mentioned Ideon, and how the 3 individual vehicles undergo transformation to become head-n-arms, torso and legs of the giant robot. But those form are nothing more than body parts, it's not really an alternate mode. Nope. Each vehicle has an alternate mode.. not just becoming body parts for Ideon. space runaway Ideon was from 1980 anime and all three components have alt modes ! but none of the modes is a a robot mode yup. This is great! I was looking for those pictures. LoL Now for a toy though, I don't think we got the first combining toy of ideon (a toy where the vehicles had both alt modes) until recently, right?

here's another one that was earlier,, Albegas' pilots minor mech.. Abega. Wow, great find reVolVer, this fits perfectly in what tetsuryu asked! Vehicle and robot modes, and a combiner. Sure the combined form is not a robot, just a bigger vehicle, but... still counts probably. You also mentioned Ideon, and how the 3 individual vehicles undergo transformation to become head-n-arms, torso and legs of the giant robot. But those form are nothing more than body parts, it's not really an alternate mode. If they did count, then Getter Robo could be on this list as well, since Eagle, Jaguar and Bear do change shape before combining in any of the three possible forms. Particularly, Bear Machine, is a jet fighter ship, right? But with the simple pull of a lever, Getter 1's legs pop out from the thruster nozzles. And that thing can walk but does it classify as some sort of "robot mode"? Probably not. But seriously, it's so hilarious to see. I dubbed it "Getter Potato" Getter Robos work but not on the toy side. I don't think there was a legit combining getter until much later (someone tell me if I am wrong here though).

here's another one that was earlier,, Albegas' pilots minor mech.. Abega. That's a great one, and a favorite toy of mine! As far as age though, it might be # 3 after construction robo and train robo. From what I understand, Popy PC-39 Nee Super Abega Jetrobo (aka Godaikin Abega) was released in 1983 in Japan.
