Hello guys, so i finally scored one i went with the the Olsen Special variant, since it was the one i owned when i was a kid first i want to say a thank you to locidm and to mpchi also i want to say sorry for chogokinabdul since i got mine from AmiAmi the thing is the price was good, about $260 shipped, i didn't shop with AmiAmi since ever, i noticed that they changed, the boxes now have their logo also they included a cool note with the package, on top of that im not a patient guy like he is, so if things went south i know how to take whats mine any ways about the figure for me personally it have this strong nostalgic feeling to it, as soon as i touched it i felt like im 8 years old again lol first, the instructions manual is hiding within the box behind a black layer, i thought mine came without one, i was so pissed because mine should have a cool vintage stickers lol the instructions manual is very worthless tho, and its very complected you need to pay extra attention to the tiny printed details on how to move things (its not as clear as Bandai manuals) i spent a good 3 hours on every mode, just trying to figure out where each parts supposed to go you must be extra careful with the moving parts i already managed to scratch mine but it was on an invisible area the figure with fully extended legs joints stand about 23cm (9 inches) it also have alot of joints to help the transformation, surprisingly its not wobbly at all so here is my final thoughts pros cool box the figure is just beautiful alot of joints a nice stand to hold the figure 23 cm tall cons the paint get easily scratched, the colors are nice but the quality of the paint it self is not that good the horns (antennas) on the head always gets in the way i wish they made a little extra space for them so you wont hit them be mistake or made them out of diecast (they got tiny scratches as well but not very clear) alot of joints (its both good and bad thing) because when you move the legs of example you might release another joints by mistake, for me that happen when i was trying to transform it to the flier mode its a bit hard to play with, but maybe because the joints are still new ? the instructions manual is very awful, and with no video reviews you are up to hard time trying to change modes but even with all that i still recommend this figure, its very beautiful and i hope one day Bandai will make one i dont recommend changing modes tho unless you couldn't do so when you were a kid lol

but even with all that i still recommend this figure, its very beautiful and i hope one day Bandai will make one i dont recommend changing modes tho unless you couldn't do so when you were a kid lol I've always wanted a gokin Orguss toy, but this toy cost double what I would want to spend. I really like how it looks though. I debated with myself whether to get it with every color variant.

I hope someday Bandai makes it. I wouldn't mind if smaller like Hi-Metal R, but SOC would be a dream.

This is a nice piece. As long as you don't transform it often and just pose it here and there as display, its a solid figure with a very nice sculpt and finish. Bu due to the many multi-jointed structure and engineering, it can be a floppy mess if the joints wear out with too much play time. Very tight and sturdy when brand new however. Very nice to look at for sure.
Best to have a vintage Takatoku as a companion and transform the heck out of that one (that thing can stand the test of time, aside yellowing plastic), while this piece for display only. Looks great having both side by side. A decent condition Takatoku can be had for less than half of this thing's price, if you look around and get lucky.

WoW that is still steep considering the low exchange rate of CAD$. Anyway do you happen to have a video or pix on the transformation ot it? Wanted to try and make a 3d print model of it. TIA.

I was supposed to be getting this figure... but was shocked with the ridiculous big SOC diecast pricing. funny thing was.. i have previous Megahouse figures with more complicated engineering costing less than half this figure's price. I dunno why this figure cost that much... apologies for those who enjoyed having this figure.. im just disappointed ill wait again for another maker to make a more worthy Orguss.
