Wow glad ppl are still discussing Orguss in 2020.
I finally scored a lucky price in 2019 on Megahouse Orguss 01 for $200 off ebay. Open box, otherwise new. Also got my hands on the Megahouse Olsen Special version new for around $250 shipped from Mandarake.
Very happy with them.

I got lucky too when I bought the reissue back then at a discount (probably from Amiami), but nothing that low. Another thing great about the Megahouse is the box design, pays homage to the original Takatoku box art. Really neat.

Also got my hands on the Megahouse Olsen Special version new for around $250 shipped from Mandarake. Very happy with them. lucky you!!! BTWW any idea how to order and ship an item from Mandarake? I never tried using Mandarake before. Thanks Pretty easy. Mandarake has a lot of locations, and what you see in the site are stock in their actual stores. If you buy multiple items, you need to make sure they are from the same store/location, otherwise you will be doing multiple check out and pay multiple shipping costs. But if you buy just a single item, then it doesn't matter much. Search can be done pretty well typing in English, but if you know enough Japanese and cut & paste the Japanese name of the item, you may find more results. Say Megahouse Orguss, browse through the few they have and see which is cheaper, look at their conditions in the listing (read carefully their notes and how they grade them, as 'resealed tape' often still means brand new, or 'box damaged' is just a tiny knick on the box), check the location of the specific Orguss you want. If all is good, you pick shipping and payment method and submit the order request. Then they will spend a day or two and check if they still have that Orguss you want at that store. If its still there, they will email you a quote with total price and shipping fee. At this point, you can pay for your order (I use Paypal) to finalize the purchase, or you can choose to cancel if the shipping is too much or you changed your mind. Once you confirmed the purchase, you just wait for your package like anywhere else. If you are in US, DHL may be your only shipping option right now, and expect to pay twice as much as EMS.

Yup, exactly like mpchi said. It's easy, make sure it's from same location if multiple items. Unfortunately, international shipping from Japan is limited to private shipping companies at the moment, so those shipping rates are going to be higher than usual.

so i finally succumb in getting the nostalgic Takatoku Orguss. Joints are loose as hell but the nostalgia wins. No box & accessories came with it but managed to 3d print the parts.

HMR Olsen Special is almost a given, unless Orguss did terrible in sales. Its like not make a green Zaku after releasing the red, or not making a VF-1S after a 1J. Bandai may not be very innovative these days, but they are still pretty smart when it comes to money.

I agree with mpchi. Def an HMR Olsen Orguss in the future but guaranteed to be P-Bandai release. Bringing the convo back to Megahouse, I hope the Mass Production Type gets a reissue too, it's the only one I skipped, but now I wish I had it.
